Excellent place to stay

Great

The room is well-finished and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The whole house and the surrounding area are very quiet. The position is great to reach Forest National by foot in less than 10min. A bit far from the city center but between bus, tram and train there are plenty of options. Brigitte was very kind and helpful with anticipating a bit the check-in and storing my bags before it, and also with informations about the neighbourhood.

Nothing really, I would just add a mid-sized towel. It was not an issue for me, but the stairs are a bit narrow so it might be difficult for people with mobility issues or if you have large bags.

Lovely house, lovely couple. Amazing breakfast!! There are two rooms, very comfortable and extremely clean. 5 min from the concert Hall and centre can easily be reached by bus/tram.

Great Location for Concert Goers

Briggitte met us, showed us the place, and gave us really valuable ideas on what to visit, where to go for dinner, lunch, breakfast. There's great bakery next door. And plenty of restaurants around. Public transport to the center was convenient, we wanted to be close to the concert hall: Forest National.

City break in Brussels

The host, Brigitte, is a wonderful person, full of energy, positivity and kindness. She helped us with everything that we needed and more. The room was clean and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for us, situated away from the crowded city center, yet with two buses that can take you there in 30-40 minutes. It was very close to the Forest National arena, where we viewed a show. We didn't try the breakfast, as we had an unpredictable schedule for the morning.

I don't have much to say here. The room was a little small for my taste, but I can't say it was a big problem. We'll be back for sure if we return to Brussels.

A great stay, clean, well positioned for the city centre, and a friendly owner!

Brigitte, the owner, was very helpful during our stay giving us good information about the area and was very friendly. The bus stop (No48 bus) was just outside the property with an easy 20/25 minute ride into the city. The room was clean and was cleaned daily to a high standard. I would thoroughly recommend this property and would definitely use it again.

Brigitte and Alain were fantastic hosts. they provided us with maps to visit town and were extremely helpful The breakfast was wonderful and included local specialties made in the local bakery The room was very clean and had excellent facilities The location is perfect with easy access to trains, buses and the tram to get into Brussels

Very friendly host and location is very convenient, feels safe, with a good choice of nearby restaurants that I found very good. The place is scrupulously clean and quiet. Communications from host were perfect.

Everything was good, an improvement could be made by towels and pillows being updated - these would be nice a bit softer and larger.

Such a nice place,with very kind people. Cozy, friendly and Brigitte and Alain always have a smile on their face,a kind word, great hints where to go,what to do. Very cozy and comfortable room. Close the the Forest National venue as we were attending a concert. There was a small problem where breakfast wasn’t available but we were contacted about that in advance and reimbursed so no problem at all!

We liked it a lot at Brigitte's and Alain's, and hopefully will come again.

We did not meet Alain, he was at work, but Brigitte was very attentive, she advised us on many things Brussels: how to go around, what museums are interesting, restaurants, places of interest and answered other questions tourists have. We were in friendly home, and it mattered.

We were ok with the high stairs to our room, but for some people it may be a serious inconvenience.
