We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff was excellent — friendly and professional. The subway is right around the corner, which made getting around the city very easy.

The staff were very efficient and friendly even though there was ONLY one person doing everything from reception, bar, restaurant. Very comfortable bed and quiet room. The private parking is definitely a bonus. Convenient to get into the centre of Bruxelles easily.

The room definitely requires a facelift in some areas as the paintwork is damaged especially the bathroom door. There was also an odour from the drainage system when we arrived in the room but disappeared after taking a shower. A lack of lighting around the hotel and car park makes the area feel very dismal. The layout inside with the restaurant, seating area is not at all inviting and badly lit - not very user friendly or cosy.

Room was clean. Girl on check-in was friendly. There is a metro nearby. There are many channels in TV. They give us separated beds as i requested. The price was good.

No soundproofing. You can hear everything from the corridor. Our room was next to the housekeeping room and every morning from 9 AM, you could hear them. But earplugs were provided. Bed is not comfortable.

I don't expect much from IBIS hotels, in general, but nothing could induce me to return .

1) Their presumed picture of the hotel is misleading. Rather than being in a leafy area, it is set beside a major hospital and a memory clinic. There is a walking path a distance away from the hotel, which was good, and I was able to walk my dog in relative tranquility. The picture used to advertise the hotel is actually taken from the walking path. 2) It is hellishly difficult to get to. The entrance is off a busy one-way street, which is the emergency access to the hospital next door. If you miss the entrance (which is well-marked), but confusing because of the closed barrier, you are forced to continue down the one-way street, turn around 2 roundabouts and work your way back. 3) Further indications of misleading information, the hotel proudly boasts of a vegetable garden. I walked around the perimeter of the hotel, and no such garden exists. 4) The price that I paid for 1 night's accommodation was similar to a 4-star hotel near Dinant, It included surcharges for my dog (ok, no problem) and breakfast. It certainly was not value for money.
