Really good

The breakfast was perfect! One of the best I had, it offers coffee, juice, tea, breads, croissants, yogurt, fruits, cheese and a "surprise" that the host cooks. Everything was fresh and felt homemade. The location was also good, pretty close to the forest. The hosts were also very nice, they recommended restaurants and places to visit in Halle.

Very friendly hosts. Beautiful, spacious, and clean room. Super dog-friendly. Also love their two dogs Buddy and Stitch! Love the walks to Hallerbos. Breakfast was divine.

Best B&B Stay in our experience

We arrived later than expected, yet everything was perfectly prepared for us, making our 11:30pm arrival completely stress-free. The next morning, we woke up to a breathtaking view, so stunning that my child exclaimed, “Mummy, it looks like we’re on a tropical island!” The garden, the pool, the terrace, and the dining area on the ground floor were all simply amazing. Melissa and Jaak were incredibly warm and welcoming, so easy to talk to and genuinely kind. Their lovely dogs, Stitch and Buddy, gave the final heartwarming touch that truly made it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was beyond generous, and our room, more like a private little apartment, was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. We loved the thoughtful details: towels, robes, and flip-flops all waiting for us. The location is wonderfully peaceful, tucked away in nature yet still accessible. Honestly, there is nothing not to love about Hallerbos B&B in the Bluebell Forest. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful place to stay. Felt very welcome . Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The shower was amazing . Bed super comfy. Owners are lovely , made us feel really welcome and we had the best breakfast we have ever had . Homemade and delicious.

Top notch B&B that deserves another star

Definitely by far the best place to stay in the surroundings,simply extraordinary. Settled in the middle of Hallerbos with a magnificent view towards the forest. Heated pool ,perfect for swimmers. Big and modern room with all the amenities. Amazing breakfast served with a special called ‘surprise’every day. Nothing was missing, this was the best breakfast I ‘ve ever had at a B&B. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Melissa goes the extra mile. I highly recommend this little gem.

A perfect B&B right on the edge of one of the most beautiful forests in the world. It doesn’t get better than this!

Perfectly located for visiting the forest, and the property itself is so so beautiful. From booking to check-out, the entire experience seamless and well-coordinated. Parking was a breeze. The owners are on-site, and in addition to being warm and welcoming, they’re also the perfect local guides. The room was really quite lovely - well-stocked and furnished (including excellent air conditioning!), and it also featured a terrace with a beautiful garden view that overlooked the forest (lovely at sunrise!). The breakfast was made on the spot and was delicious.

Excellent place! Very good and easy communication with the owner. They were very nice and friendly and willing to accommodate even a very late arrival. The room was nice and clean and breakfast was specially made for us. We were very pleased and we will go back in the future and stay for a longer period of time.

View from the room is just unbelievable. Rich breakfast with homemade pie. Amazing owners and their dogs. Beautiful garden with the pool. Up to 30 min by car to Brussels. Mini bar.

We should stay more than 1 night. Ticks in the garden if I'm not wrong. Even 1 was on my hand.

The best place to stay in Belgium

The rooms were spacious with spa-like bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden with the nice pool. The hosts were so nice and helpful. They even drove us to the mechanic when our car needed a check-up. We brought our dog, and she would run freely in the garden with the hosts two dogs. The breakfast was wonderful. Would stay there again and can’t recommend it enough.

Amazing B&B right next to the Hallerbos

Amazing stay so close to the forest/Hallerbos! We wish we would have stayed longer 😉. Great attention to detail, from the little scented soap in the bathroom to the beautiful pictures on the wall. Very comfortable bed and shower, wonderful breakfast with American pancakes and fresh fruit. Just a 5-10 minute walk to the forest. We did not use the swimming pool but it looked great too. We will definitely be back when visiting Belgium!!

Amazing hospitality, outstanding facility, right in the heart of the Hallerbos, and all the comforts of a warm and frien

From the moment we walked in, Melissa and Jack treated us just like family. They are the most warm and wonderful people, and they made the stay absolutely superb. The BnB is a traveler’s dream, from the spacious rooms with comfortable beds, newly renovated bathrooms, phenomenal views over the valley, and any and all the amenities you could possibly need (or ask for!). There’s a heated outdoor pool (bathrobes, towels and flip flops provided), good parking on site, and close to loads of trails (especially right to the Hallerbos). Loved the breakfasts, with a homemade treat every morning… a beautiful stay all around, will definitely and certainly do it again!

Only that we couldn’t stay for several more weeks… the working world was calling :)

Great hosts, beautiful view

The Hyacinth suite was lovely, with an amazing view. Melissa and her husband were very accomodating and helped us out immediately whenever we needed anything. I stayed here for work with 4 colleagues, it was perfect. We didn't try the cooking skills of Melissa and her husband but it sounded amazing. Definitely will go back for a personal stay someday.

Be aware that there is no kitchen, so if you count on cooking yourself this is not the right place for you.

Superb

Extremely friendly and helpful owner gave us a very warm welcome and she was very accommodating. Room was big, clean and felt luxurious.

The stairs to the room were black metal with holes. Our dogs couldn't climb those as their nails seemed to get stuck if they tried to climb them so we did have to lift them each time. That's basically the only inconvenience we experienced.
