A boutique monastery, but great staff

Staff friendly and helpful

40 euros for a dormitory in low season and they don't even include breakfast. Not even a cup of coffee. Breakfast is 12 euros on top of the 40 you've paid. Check out is at 10:30 what the hell? I'm on holiday let me sleep. It's a hostel not a boutique monastery

Nice Hostel in Bologna.

Super clean hostel, good amenities and smooth check in process. Beds are very comfortable. Although it is not in the city centre, it is close to main train station and you can reach to hostel by walking o cycling.

Fabulous place.

This hostel is by far the best I have stayed in! The whole building was exceptionally clean and smelled fabulous everywhere! I stayed in a private room, and the size of the room surprised me as they are normally tiny. However, my room was lovely and spacious, and my double bed was extremely comfortable.

Unfortunately, there was no lift, or the lift was out of order. So, I had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs. My luggage was taken upstairs for me by a lovely man on the front desk, but I had to bring it down a few days later.

Clean, not much else

Clean, gets the job done.

A few things... they never replied to my email which made planning my trip difficult. They don't give you a key to the garden or terrace and I was locked out for 30 minutes. Not really a place I wanted to spend any time at, the atmosphere was not there.

I loved it

Clean, comfortable, there is an electricity outlet next to bed, the staff is nice, a little less then half an hour walk from old town- for me the walk was nice and location felt very safe. I did my laundry for 3 euro (they have a place to hang the clothing in the sun or you can use the dryer for additional fee)

If the beds would have privacy (a curtain) it would be perfect.

Spacious, Clean, and Comfortable

- huge room - large lockers - bathroom inside of room - there is a sink for everyone to use in the room while someone is showering or on the toilet - there is AC - free luggage storage - garden is shaded and huge, relaxing when mosquitos aren't biting - there is a roof and a lounge in the basement - neighborhood is safe and there is a nice size grocery store not too far away - about a 15-20min walk from the central train station - there is a bus stop a few min walk away - staff was accommodating when it came to turning the AC during the day when I came in for a break from the heat.

- a bit far from old town center (about 30min) but I knew that when booking and it wasn't an issue for me, but it might be for others looking to be closer to the center - there are two showers and one toilet in our shared mixed dorm, but one of the showers is not private and the glass is only partially frosted, so no one used it. If it was a female only or male only dorm, it would most likely be used. - the toilet is in the same room as the private shower so if someone is in the shower and you need to use the toilet, you either need to wait or go to the toilets in the basement - the AC doesn't stay on the whole night, it turns off for a few hours and then turns back on. On one of the nights, it got hot in the room. The next day, I told the front desk about it and I think they adjust it because it didn't get hot during the night. - I feel like the price is a bit high for breakfast to not be included

Just unlucky with neighbors

Easy check-in and check-out procedure. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The facilities are fine; I was there just for sleeping one night, so for me it was alright, but cannot recommend staying there for more than one night. They provide free lockers, which is good. There was an air conditioner, and it was really refreshing during this hot weather.

The rating I am giving is for the overall stay. The hostel was fine, nothing special, maybe a bit overpriced for what it offers. The mattress topper could have been cleaner; it was dirty. However, the bedsheets were clean. The door was not properly closing, so it was a bit problematic.

Would not recommend

Toilets were weirdly designed and not very private, no drainage so often sopping wet. Airconditioning in the room turned on/off intermittently during the night which made the room incredibly hot in summer. Location a far way out of the city and public transport difficult to navigate.

Room was horrendously hot and stuffy, contacted front desk multiple times to turn on ventilation/AC was assured this would happen but did not. Woke up sweating and left.

Nice and safe place to stay for solo female travelers.

It is located in a very quiet and peaceful place. Not too far from the airport, as well as the city center and the central station (for those who don't have walking problems , it's great). The staff is very polite, friendly and most importantly, unobtrusive. The room was clean and comfortable. Also i like terrace where you can just relax when get back very tired.

Quiet place

Quiet hostel, good place to stay during the Formula One Imola GP weekend.

Otherwise the hostel was clean, but unfortunately we had to share the room with one filthy Indian guy, who made constant mess in the shared bathroom

No sabía que el hospite debía prepararse el mismo la cama. A parte no se duerme nada porque se escucha todo en los pasillos y las demás personas alojadas en mi habitación no respetaron el descanso del otro. Entraban y salían cada 5 minutos sumando que tiraban la puerta al entrar o salir, y ademas de todo a las 4-5 de la mañana todavía se ponían a conversar como si no hubiera nadie más. No lo recomiendo para personas que van de paso y quieren relajarse. Sì te gusta el bullicio entonces sì, es para ti.

De passage à Bologne pour 1 jours mais vaudrait la peine d’y rester 2-3 jours

Hôtel avec une réception et donc une personne pour vous accueillir et vous renseigner si besoin. Accueil très sympathique, salle de bain à l’intérieur du dortoir 4 lits femme avec 2 douches, 2 lavabos, 1 WC . Grand casier personnel avec clé pour déposer ses affaires . Cuisine, machines à laver le linge. Draps doux et propres. Lieux communs très propres. A 20 mn à pied de la gare . Bonne lampe de lecture . Propose le petit déjeuner en supplément.

Un peu loin du centre à pied. Pas bien insonorisé . Pas pratique de monter descendre si on a le lit d’en haut. Plutôt cher

J'ai été super bien acceuilli. Les espaces communs sont top surtout le petit jardin.

Je ne suis pas fan des salles de bains dans la chambre, un toilette et une douche pour 8 personnes je trouve ça un peu juste. La chambre était envahi de moustique. Dommage que les fenêtres ne soit pas pas équipée de moustiquaire.

Praticamente tutto impeccabile, struttura super attrezzata con stupenda zona relax in giardino.

Non dipende dalla struttura, ma purtroppo la zona è molto mal collegata a livello di mezzi pubblici. Il prezzo è alto per un ostello, ma super economico considerata la città di Bologna.

Bardzo miły Pan na recepcji. Wygodne łóżka. Nie było hałasu z zewnątrz mimo że pokój znajdował się przy wejściu do tarasu. Dobre śniadanie za dodatkową opłatę na miejscu ale zabrakło w nim warzyw. Łatwo się dostać z lotniska i do centrum. Było nas tylko 2 osoby w pokoju. Prywatna czysta łazienka

Это был лучший хостел в моей жизни! Все новое и чистое, удобная кровать, розетки у каждого места, кондиционер, мыло в ванной, сад и терраса, недалеко от центра, приятный персонал. Все было прекрасно!
