Feel like a part of the family during your stay

The owners of the gasthaus are so supportive and friendly, you really feel like a part of the family. It was the first time in our lives when the owner new all of us by names. They know the region, can give advice what to visit. If you stay 3+ nights, you get Appenzeller Ferienkarte which allows you to explore all the region. Train station is 2 min away which is very convenient. Free parking place for the car just nearby. I would definitely recommend this place!

Due to ongoing construction, there were occasional evening conversations from workers on site, so it wasn't quite the typical Swiss quiet. WiFi was not stable, but it wasn't important for us so we didn't ask to adjust it.

Netter Familienbetrieb und schönes Zimmer

Die Familie, die das Gasthaus betreibt ist sehr herzig und ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Das Zimmer war gemütlich, wir konnten sehr gut schlafen. Sprudel- und Dampfbad waren gute Extras. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein, perfekter Start in den Tag. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, direkt am Bahnhof.

Über die Umbauarbeiten wurden wir gut informiert. Wir haben es wahrgenommen aber sie haben uns nicht gestört.

Accueil chaleureux. Maison ancienne bien rénovée mais encore en travaux. Avons pu profiter du jacuzzi en arrivant avec peignoirs à disposition. Chambre spacieuse très calme. Propreté irréprochable Petits déjeuners corrects Très proche d'Appenzell (5min en voiture) Place de parking Possibilité de payer sur place en cash.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Ideal um Appenzell zu erkunden.

Familiengeführter Gasthof. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Tolle Lage um die Gegend zu entdecken. Sehr gut mit dem Zug erreichbar. Sehr gutes Nachtessen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Soggiorno fantastico nell'Appenzellerland

I proprietari di questa Gasthaus sono delle splendide persone che ti accolgono col cuore. Ci sente veramente accolti in un atmosfera familiare. Camera molto bella, comoda e spaziosa. Colazione favolosa e di qualità, soprattutto le marmellate. La spa anche se piccola, mi è piaciuta tantissimo in particolare l'hammam all'eucalipto e la stanza del riposo con vista sulle colline appenzellesi.
