Great location, very clean, lovely decor

Very clean, well decorated, modern bathroom, very good shower, great location for Buxton town centre, well stocked kitchen

The front bedroom was quite noisy early in the morning. The front door needs a curtain as people can see straight in which made us feel a bit uncomfortable when sitting in the lounge

Not good

Didn't like anything situated close to railway bridge and very narrow pavement to walk on under it as we arrived by train

Wasn't told and isn't stated bathroom downstairs no room to move in front room settee very uncomfortable to big for room stairs horrendous very steep stairrail runs out halfway up nothing to hold onto not stated it's not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties hubby has rheumatoid arthritis and couldn't do the stairs felt very cold inside even though it was lovely outside no curtains downstairs only blind so once open people can see straight in not as clean as made out contacted property there not really interested and don't reply to emails once money taken so lesson learnt on my side lost £366 as couldn't stay there and had to come home

Property in great location for town, walking distance and places of interest. Which is wat we wanted.

Location

Toilet and bathroom down stairs. Staircase steep and narrow. Not enough room to sit and eat meals comfortably and we were only two persons, just a narrow breakfast bar with two chairs. Could do with a couple of more saucepans in kitchen. Ie, there was just one small saucepan. We were only two people, so apart from the bathroom issue, it was fine.

Shower and main bed was ok Ben was great so this is not a reflection on him

The front door is a nightmare, the lock is fitted poorly and as a result the door doesn't shut properly letting in a big draft. This meant the house was freezing and the hive heating was locked, I called ben and he gave me the code(he was very help). I'm not sure why but it kept turning it's self down or someone was doing it on the app. The kitchen door had been removed meaning when I tried to cook a steak the alarm system in the living room went off calling the owner (I had the extractor fan on full but it did nothing). The sofa was the most uncomfortable sofa I've ever sat on so much so that I made a temporary one out of my suit case and some cushions. Also the main bedroom door needs slamming to stay shut and the light switches by the front door need screwing down properly. Other than that great! Needless to say......Not for me.

Lovely property, really clean, kitchen was so nice to use as it was modern and had good appliances. Perfect location to get to hiking trails.

Cozy cottage for your Peak District getaway

Nice and cozy cottage walking distance to the center. Walking distance to grocery stores. Plenty of onstreet parking. Kitchen had everything we needed. Well documented check-in process answered any question we might have had.

A few well placed hooks for jackets and towels would make the place complete

It’s a lovely cosy little place right in the heart of Buxton. Great amenities and decor.

I would say probably the sofa. I have a condition that causes pain and I don’t find the sofa very comfortable. It looks good though.
