It was self-catering, so didn't expect breakfast. However, a real bonus was a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived, as well as teabags. There were a few other items available, such as oil and vinegar, but as we were eating out we didn't really check them out. The kitchen was well equipped, and the whole property was stylishly and comfortably furnished. Large comfy beds, and plenty of drawer and hanging space.
The only fly in the ointment was having a bath with shower over. I'm slightly disabled due to a bad accident last year, and found that difficult. But I realise some people prefer to bathe, and you can't please everybody!
The approach to the property was a bit steep, but this is Buxton, which is very hilly, so one would be lucky to find anywhere on the flat.

The cottage is beautiful, modern, clean and in a perfect location. The beds were very comfortable and great large towels.

Central location but very quiet. The cottage was amazing with everything required for a few days . The added bonus was having secure parking very close to the cottage. The owners were fab and though we never met them in person were on the end of the phone of required. Highly recommend this cottage if you are looking to stay on Buxton
