An oasis above the streets of Buxton

An oasis up above the streets of Buxton! Great location for all local amenities. We were very comfortable in the apartment and had everything we needed for a two night break. Lovely, comfortable beds and quality bedding/ bath towels. We would stay again.

We felt that the yard entrance needed a light and that the bottom door should have been locked overnight to make it more secure.

Perfect home from home break away, just what we all needed we all

It was spotless, lovely decor, comfortable beds, cosy and warm eventually

Only one small thing that was easily rectified. When we arrived it was very cold. I took my elderly parents so maybe the heating could have been switched on for our arrival. We went to the pub while the place warmed so wasn’t a massive deal

Only really suitable for two people as space is tight. Not good value for two though!

Clean, nicely decorated, modern kitchen and bathroom,

Bedrooms were just far too small. It was impossible to store any luggage in the bedrooms and there was nowhere else to store it. There was minimal space around the beds and it was difficult to access the far side of the bed. Similarity the dining table was difficult to access for four people as it was squeezed into the window space in the multi functional kitchen/dining/living room. The property is marketed for four people and we were a group of four just staying one night. We managed but would not like to have stayed longer. It would have been better for two people where one bedroom could have been used to store luggage and clothes. Also the mattresses need replacing. They were soft and uncomfortable and we all slept badly.

Poor experience

Lovely lounge

Two flights of steep narrow stairs to the flat entrance.and a very short handrail. Very soft unsupportive mattresses in the twin room which you could roll off the edge very easily. Very small bedrooms, I had to sleep with my suitcase on the double bed as not enough floor space around the bed.

Was lovely for me and my daughter for the night . Right in the heart of the town . Everything we needed for a nice stay

Loved it and would highly recommend

Everything - the size, cleanliness, facilities, location - just perfect. Already looking to return. There’s a pay & display car park just around the corner (rather than in the town centre) so you can just nip out at 8am to redo your daily ticket for only £4.60. If you have a dog there’s a lovely church with grass for them early morning or last thing at night.

A great place and location.

Very cosy, well appointed flat. Everything was easy to use and felt "at home" quickly. Had everything we needed as a base to explore Buxton and the peaks. Location is incredible too. Only a couple of minutes' walk to some lovely pubs and restaurants.

A very comfortable clean and enjoyable stay in this lovely modern apartment. Located close to shops and restaurants, not far to drive for all the best walks. Well done to Marta and the team

Absolutely stunning apartment, fabulous location, for town, local transport, pavilion gardens, theatre, multitude of pubs,restaurants, cafes, shopping. Just perfect, and host is amazing 👏 😍
