Cosy, and very well maintained in a perfect location

We had a wonderful last-minute stay at Wolf Hollow and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was spotlessly clean, cosy, and very well maintained, making it easy to relax as soon as we arrived. The location is excellent and perfectly suited for a peaceful getaway, while still being convenient for getting around. Communication with the host, Wayne, was outstanding—he was friendly, responsive, and incredibly accommodating, especially given the short notice of our booking.

If I had to suggest one very small improvement, it would be a slightly larger coffee table in the living room, purely because the current one is a bit small for family board games. That said, this is a very minor point, and otherwise I can only praise this lovely little place. We genuinely struggled to fault it and would happily stay again.

Fantastic welcoming home away from home

Beautiful property with an incredibly helpful host. Wayne made organising arrival very easy and took above and beyond measures to make sure our stay was exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable. We would love to stay here again!

Charming stay close to town centre

We were only there for one night, very comfortable.

We brought our own breakfast but there was oil in the cupboard to cook it

There is nothing to be done about the steep stairs, that's the only fault I found

Lovely break - always preferable to hotel break.

Good location, near late night supermarkets, and some cafes and restaurants. Short walk to Lower Buxton which is the main tourist area. Surprisingly quiet area, even through the night with windows open. The rooms all look freshly painted. Wayne was very prompt to answer any queries.

Parking near the house is chancy. You may get a spot near the house, but if you take the car out the chances are you'll be parking along th next road, anywhere you can find a space. The settee in the front room is small.

No where to sit and relax.

Very clean and nicely presented house, good location as a base to explore the peaks and the hosts were very friendly and enthusiastic!

Scored low on the comfort as I couldn’t see how it would cater for more than two adults let alone 6. We stayed as a family of four and couldn’t sit down on the evening together, the sofa barely accommodated the eldest teenager. The breakfast bar albiet very trendy and fitted in with the industrial decor, was also impractical. Outside is also very cozy as it only has two chairs. The heating was managed via an app by the owner which they were keen to tell us about which we just thought was just a bit odd.
