Immaculately clean, comfy beds, welcoming hosts and delicious breakfast. Only a short walk into the town for the restaurants / pubs etc..
Paul could not do enough for us and passed on so much information. The cottages were so cute, compact in size but that gave them more charm.
Very good value for money.
In no way is this a negative and it’s fully understood the reasoning behind it but we just wish we had known before. Although very dog friendly they are not permitted in the main house for breakfast as the hosts have dogs ( which were lovely)
Myself and my friends dog don’t really get on so we had to separate them to leave them and put one in the car and one in the room and when we returned they’d been quite distressed.
Just worth knowing if you have a similar situation.

Grade 2 listed building full of character. Great location within walking distance of Buxton town. Paul and Sarah very welcoming, friendly and thoughtful hosts. Room 6 was cosy, comfortable, quiet and warm with compact but modern shower room facilities. Good breakfast selection on offer - quality food prepared and cooked to a high standard.

Cosy and beautiful, we loved how we could charge our car also. The room was cosy and warm and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in one of the the little rooms with the dog so was great we could bring him along. The breakfast was brilliant, fresh fruit, yogurt cereals and choice of hot (full English/bacon etc) and tea/coffee and fresh juice. Paul and his wife were so welcoming and I would recommend anyone exploring the peaks or the surrounding area to stay here! Also had lots of recommendations and places you can take your dog to in the room! Highly recommend!

What an absolutely amazing stay. I visited and stayed over one night for my work Christmas party. The weather was horrendous and I was already over and hour late and quite stressed. I contacted the hosts to ask for help in booking a taxi so that I could literally arrive and jump straight in, to travel to the venue. No trouble at all for Paul. I arrived, was shown my beautiful cosy little room and the taxi came imminently. Paul was so helpful and friendly and even searched my boot for a brolly! The room was just perfect, with all the facilities you would expect. It was lovely and warm I felt very safe staying alone. Breakfast was outstanding. What a lovely, easy, peaceful and stress free stay. I work in the area and so will definitely go back when I have to stay over again, thank you both.
It was all perfect.

Comfortable room, very quiet overnight despite its proximity to a busy road, easy to walk into the town (uphill all the way back which might not suit everyone), lots of local information available, very friendly proprietor, super breakfast, very good value.

Really quaint and cosy, rooms were so quiet and walls thick so had no noise disturbance at all. The room was comfortable, and the hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had! So well cooked and great quality ingredients. As our room has its own private entrance we weren’t disturbed by people coming in and going out at different times. It was like a mini holiday cottage.
Short walk away but on a busy road into town. Thankfully no traffic noise once in the room :)

The room was beautifully decorated and had the most gorgeous soft furnishings. The beds were extreamly comfortable and the shower was amazing. Great attention to detail and spotless. Owners were very attentive and happy to help with any requests. Breakfast is the best Ive had in a long time, both in quality and range of options. Parking is available on site and it was a short easy walk into Buxton town centre.
Everything was fantastic

Great hosts, the breakfast was lovely too. Great location and interesting to hear about the history of the farmhouse and to look at the book about the farmhouse was really interesting.
Really enjoyed our stay.
The room was lovely and great for family of 3. Just noticed abit of damp behind the single bed in the wall, but apart from that it was great.

Our stay overall was good, along with the host & the breakfast which was excellent.
Although the room was clean & tidy, the bathroom was rather small & restricted, with a broken tile on the shower floor.

We were warmly greeted and shown to our room, which was very modern given the age of the property. Built in 1580, a beautiful building with so much character. We stayed in room 1 in the main building, well appointed and very clean. Breakfast was very good, we had fresh fruit followed by a full English, extremely good portions. There were other things on offer if we wanted it. The owners were very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed Paul telling us about the interesting history of the property.

Possibly directions, the name suggests it's on a farm. It's actually in a road in a built up area.

The stand out of our stay here was the incredible breakfast provided by Paul and Sarah every morning. Definitely worth stay here we could have been happier.
The entrance driveway can be a little tricky to find, but just look for the bus stop you won’t miss it.

Everything.
Close to Buxton centre.
Although just off the main road, you couldn't hear any traffic noise at all.
The room was clean, comfortable and had lovely touches like good quality shampoo and shower gel, tasty biscuits and plenty of choice of in room drinks.
Breakfast was delicious and any request catered for.
The staff very friendly and happy to help.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
Can't say anything, a perfect stay.

Charming cottage-style accommodation with a full breakfast that was absolutely delicious! Paul made every effort to make sure we were comfortable.
I appreciated the little touches - heater came on in the evening and morning so we were greeted by a warm bathroom :)
Would definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area.
Beds were a little on the soft side but I guess that’s more a matter of preference. We still had a good night’s sleep.
