Apartment is in a superb location. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very enjoyable stay.

When we initially booked our stay we were not aware that the property was located on the first floor and accessed via external steps which are relatively steep and narrow. This was brought to our attention post booking and note that this is now incorporated within the property description.

Beautiful large apartment, very comfortable and a few minutes walk away from the centre of Buxton

This property is so much bigger than we appreciated along with high ceilings and plenty of light. It was a pleasure staying there. Parking outside was very easy and it is a very short walk into the centre of Buxton. Large kitchen with everything we needed and everywhere was very clean. We were very comfortable and will return.

Perfect location close to the Opera House

The property was perfectly located for visiting (& performing at!) the Buxton Opera House. The house was very spacious and well-appointed with well thought out and attractive decor. The beds were comfortable with good quality linen though quality of sleep would have been better if there had been curtains in the bedrooms rather that wooden venetian blinds that didn't really block out the morning sunlight.

We were slightly surprised by the fairly steep steps (about 25) up to the top floor flat as we had not expected these from the description which implied that the whole house wasfor us. In fact, the house is split into 2 flats though the upper flat is very spacious & split onto multiple levels. We noticed that there didn't seem to be much cookware for using in the microwave although the kitchen was otherwise well equipped.

Clean, airy, quiet, spacious, private apartment.

Good central location in Buxton, an easy walk to St Johns Church, Pavillion Gardens and the Opera House. Quiet and private, lots of mature trees outside, we heard owls hooting at night. Lots of lovely big Victorian sash windows, which were thankfully easy to open - we were there in a heatwave. Large kitchen diner, well provided for with equipment, and everything worked perfectly. Recently decorated and spotlessly clean. The apartment was more spacious than it looked in the photos online.

The ground floor bathroom was quite a walk from the master bedroom, across the hall, down 2 steps, across the kitchen, and though the dressing room, and the hand basin was very small. Took a while to work out the spa bath controls. We all used the walk-in shower upstairs. There was no parking whatsoever allowed in the drive, even for unloading. Parking is on the road, which was not a problem as we got a spot right outside. The narrow steps up to the front door were a nuisance, but the website details forewarned us about that and we brought small suitcases.

Fantastic house in a great location in Buxton. Perfect as a base for exploring the Peak District. The house is on a quiet, tree-lined residential street with great parking and easy walking access to the shops, amazing restaurants and bars of Buxton.

Location was great, apartment was very clean and incredibly well equipped. Quiet location with easy parking.

Blinds let a bit more light into the bedroom than would have liked but that’s a personal preference.

A great place to relax, a real home away from home.

Great location for exploring Buxton and the surrounding countryside. When we travel it’s nice to feel we’re staying in a place as nice as our home rather than ‘just kitted out as a holiday let’, and that’s certainly the case with this place. Oh, and lovely to let the jacuzzi bath soak away the country walks!

Four nights in Buxton taking in a wedding and our granddaughter's 4th birthday

The apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was perfect with the park, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Parking (for free on the street) was straightforward.

A small milk pan would have been useful.

De hel ruimte was heerlijk en de keuken heel fijn!

De bedden boven zijn wat aan de korte kant voor volwassenen, maar prima voor kinderen. Geen föhn kunnen vinden.
