We loved the whole place aside from the blocked shower tray and some mould on the shower head and ceiling of shower cubicle. Otherwise we were very pleased.

Lovely and relaxing.

Apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. great location on the edge of town so everything within easy reach. Great value for money.

The stairs to the apartment were fine but once in the apartment the stairs to the bedrooms were steep, especially the top room. My wife has a condition that affects her hands and feet so she couldnt make the top bedroom. If was fine and we still loved our stay just something to be aware of if somebody struggles with stairs.

A gem in the Peaks

A wonderful comfortable flat. Perfect location for a short walk into Buxton but with plenty of bars and food places to choose from. Beds were lovely and cosy. The bathroom spacious. Everything you need in a kitchen. Perfect hosts. 10 out of 10!

Perfect, central place to stay with many options for treks around Peak District.

Many breakfast options available, within walking distance from the property. I will suggest trying out options such as "Noonology", "Blossom Cafe" for heavy breakfast or "Pig and Pepper Bakery", "Rasa" for confenctionary. For walking trails and treks, there are lots of options nearby. Closest one is "Solomon's Temple" and another nearby option is "Monsal Trail" and "Chee dale stepping stones", where you can spend entire day and explore the area along "River Wye". For dinner, again, you have lots of choices close to the property. Overall, excellent place to stay.

On Sundays, you will have limited options with respect to shopping, restaurants, just like any tourist place. So, be prepared. Also, be careful when parking in the provided Parking areas for public. I parked at "Market Place Car Park" on Friday evening. Every Tuesday and Saturday, local Market is set up in this Parking area, which I was unaware of! I had to face lot of swearing and aggresive behaviour from the vendors/traders, when I went there to drive off from the Car Park.

Comfortable stay, great location.

Location was great, parking pass easy to use and car park not far from the property. Well equipped, comfortable beds, had everything we needed.

There are a lot of steep stairs so nit recommended for those with mobility issues.

Mostly clean and comfortable beds. Some snacks and coffee/tea provided. Central location, near to shops and eats.

Host gave confusing information on key retrieval and on floor of unit so my poor 80 yo Dad had to climb 4 floors up to only find out the unit is on ground floor. More stairs to bedroom and is very steep, not suitable for people with bad legs. No AC so foreigners will find it stuffy. Shower head is confusing, you either scald/freeze yourself. Boiler instructions are confusing too.

Lots of stairs, up to the apartment, becoming progressively steeper from the second floor up to the attic bedroom. Not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Perfect Peaks location, lovely apartment

Clean, comfortable, spacious, free parking with a parking permit which can be used in other carparks around the peaks. Big bedrooms & bathroom, loved the jacuzzi bath. Perfect location. Great communication from the owners. Everything in the kitchen you need. The stairs are steep but that didn't bother us at all. Buxton is beautiful too. Would love to return. Loved it.

Just one little thing, the shower head needs to be adjusted so the water comes out of all the holes not just round the outside, the water goes round you not on you.

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting and exploring Buxton by foot, found excellent restaurants and bars.

Not possible due to building but missed having a downstairs toilet. Stairs quite steep, so visits to the loo took a bit longer. Parking was good due to permit but could have been closer.

Not really designed for people wanting to eat in, ie no dining table (I realise there was no room for one) and the breakfast bar wasn’t suitable for a social meal. The stairs going up to the top floor were a little difficult

Good Location, we enjoyed our short stay.

Central location, with reasonable ameinities near location. The layout of the flat was slightly unusual with two bedrooms seperated by a flight of steep stairs. Both bedrooms had lots of space, the upper one occupying the whole floor. The views from the velux windows were excellent.

On a main road with large truck passing just under the first floor windows. the pubs around the area were very busy and noisy, but by 12:00 most of the customers had left and it went quite.

Girls getaway.

Perfect location, easy access, very clean and had virtually everything you could possibly need. Even though you're on the main road there was very little traffic noise.

The beds are actually made up of 2 singles that fasten together. The bed on the 1st floor, one of the mattresses was very soft and uncomfortable, but the other was fine. Could also do with blackout blinds in the bedrooms.

The flat was perfect. In the centre of Buxton with permit parking. Parking can always be a nightmare but this was perfect. Well laid out accom with everything you could need. A spacious bathroom and shower, keysafe on collection, warm and very clean accom, very comfy bed. Quirky layout which I loved and wanted to spend more time in - perfect to chill after long walks. Books games etc for kids. Pubs across the road serving meals til late and very friendly. We'll definitely be back again. WiFi signal very strong - I say this because I've been in accom that is utter pants. Enough to sustain streaming movies and several devices. Netflix was logged in so didn't need password from home. Smart TV has YouTube casting which again not everyone has. People have commented on the stairs. I think the owners have covered this to be fair as the property is on three levels. But the stairs to the attic are steep so be aware. Everywhere clean. Excellent few nights. Hosts in contact by email but hands off - which I also like. (I'm antisocial! Lol) Would go again in a heartbeat.

Cosy appartment in a very convenient location for exploring the town

A warm, comfortable apartment, set over 3 floors. Perfect location for accessing on foot all the facilities in the town. A fascinating book shop and a brilliant artisan bakery are only a couple of doors away, as are several lovely pubs. This was January and the outside temperature was cold but the whole appartment was beautifully warm and the beds and chairs/ sofa in sitting room were very comfy. Instructions for finding, accessing and parking were very clear and the hosts contacted me by text upon booking and just prior to arrival so I felt confident that if there had been a problem they would be on hand. Lovely weekend break

We stayed here from 9th to 11th December as we had the Santa train booked in Matlock. The apartment was fantastic, spacious rooms, comfy beds and spotlessly clean. All the facilities you would need are here. Lorraine and Kev were very helpful in giving us directions and instructions regarding the keys. Overall it was a wonderful stay.
