Easy walk into town. Had we bought the dogs, garden would’ve been nice & safe.
Having an Apple computer was a nice touch (but we didn’t use it!) Nice to have off road parking. Explanation of how to use boiler a bit hazy. The button you push up had 2 positions, not 1 as written in the welcome pack but we worked it out!
A bit dark, quite noisy downstairs but didn’t bother us upstairs.
Towels were a bit thin, could’ve done with hand wash in the kitchen, also tin foil and/or a couple of small plastic containers for us to use for carrying snacks.
Not essential but was secretly hoping for an espresso coffee machine!

The cottage is lovely with excellent facilities and in a very good location to access Buxton and the pubs etc within. Takes around 5-10 mins to walk into the town. We were delighted to find plenty of fire wood for the log burner and the house is lovely and warm even in the freezing weather we had over new year.
Extremely small issue that it’s a shame there aren’t two separate toilets when four people are staying

Location was really convenient. It was an easy walk in to town. The park and Town were lovely, it was a really good location. We were on a main road which meant it was easy to get to places in the car. Lots to do within walking distance.
Main road could be noisy when sitting in the garden, but we didn't stay in too much. Dog friendly but the dogs were not allowed upstairs or on the furniture

Location was great. Good size
Hot water wouldn't work unless you topped up the water pressure on the boiler every time you wanted to use hot water.
Was not aware that we had to clean before departure.
House was not very clean on arrival. Very dusty.
Mould around windows, musty smell.
Expected welcome pack (tea, coffee, sugar etc...) only was left overs from previous guests.
