I wouldn’t stay there again wear and tear the beds uncomfortable

I complained about several things for example slug trials all over carpet no mattress protectors mould no toilet paper

Lovely comfy and clean, well equipped house in central location

Nice central location. All sites and facilities were within easy walking distance. Parking on the street was actually good and not a problem. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Beds were particularly comfie and we slept really well. We had everything we needed for our stay

Great location, functional a little basic.

Great location in Buxton, close to pubs and shops and access to the rest of the Peak District. Cosy and comfortable beds and good space for an older family with kids who won’t share rooms or 4 friends.

A little unfinished and rough around the edges. Untidy paintwork and the quality of fittings such as taps, kitchen cupboards and fittings are very low cost and not protected against water damage from washing up.

Fine for a quick centre of town stay

The location was perfectly situated right next to the centre of town.

It didn't feel very clean, although it had clearly been cleaned - it just smelt damp and musty. I wouldn't have liked to try and cook or use any of the items in the kitchen 😬 The decor was basic with cheap furniture. The Internet was just non-existent. We couldn't get anything to work on the smart TV, and most of the apps needed an update, which the Internet wasn't strong enough to support. Not that TV was needed for our stay, but may be a consideration for others. It was fine for a couple of nights, but for the price, I think I can find something better next time.

Absolutely perfect short get away

Located perfectly in the centre of Buxton, very clean, helpful host, good powerful shower, will stay again.

I might have been using it incorrectly but it seems cold water can't come out of the bathroom sink only hot.

GOOD LOCATION, EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED AT THE PROPERTY

THE ADDRESS WAS TORR MEWS, WE COULDN'T FIND TORR MEWS, BUT EVENTUALLY FOUND JUST 15 TORR STREET, WHERE THE KEY CODED BOX WAS ON THE WALL, A LITTLE BIT MISLEADING

A Nice Place to Stay for a Mini Break

We enjoyed our stay in Torr Mews and found the hosts helpful and provided a hair-drier and attempted to fix the issue with the TV. Also the kitchen was clean and modern. The property was warm. Convenient for the local shops, buses, and pubs.

Unfortunately the TV didn't have an external aerial and we couldn't watch live TV and the streamed channels suffered from intermittent buffering. I think the wifi was pretty slow overall. Maybe a few more items of furniture, such as a dressing table in the single front bedroom and a small bedside table and light would be good. Perhaps an armchair downstairs. I didn't find the sofa comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. With a few additions it would have been perfect!

Great location and really useful having 3 bedrooms. Communication with agent/owner was prompt and efficient.

Minimal crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking equipment in kitchen. Only 4 hangers. No bedside table, drawers or lamp in 3rd bedroom. Bathroom door does not shut.
