From beautiful Portugal to beautiful Hayfield
The cottage was wonderfully spacious. Lovely views over the cricket pitch. It was lovely to be in a nice warm space as the weather during our stay was cold and wet.
The stairs were a little challenging, very steep but we appreciate the fact that it is an old building and obviously not something that can be changed. As we were traveling from out of the country, a small bottle of shampoo and shower gel would have been appreciated to get started, as we did not have a rental car which would have made shopping for the essentials easier.

The location was fantastic.
A little attention is needed in bathroom and 1st floor toilet. One seat very loose and one seat totally wrong size for toilet Maybe a welcome pack, pint of milk etc. Apart from that all good

Exceptional property and a fantastic place to stay for the weekend.
Charming house with stunning views over Hayfield, especially in the evenings with outstanding sunsets. Comfy and spacious, perfect for use as a basecamp when embarking on hikes in the Peaks. Kind enough to provide coffee and tea for our stay.
