A perfect property for a cosy cottage escape.

Perfect location for exploring Buxton on foot. The cottage was cosy, warm and perfect for a winter escape.

The only thing missing was a washing machine.

Beautiful Buxton

A beautiful cottage that made a wonderful home for my holiday. A fabulous location in upper Buxton close to many excellent pubs, restaurants and shops. A very short walk from the Market place where good bus services to many locations in Derbyshire and beyond were available. It made enjoying getting around the peak district without needing a car a fabulous experience.

I can't think of anything I didn't like about staying here.

Older family mini break

Very clean and cosy cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Centrally located, just a short walk to all the shops/ bars and restaurants. Fab walks from the doorstep and we got the train into Manchester one day for only £10 return ( no cards). The local butcher sold the most exquisite sirloin steak and sausages- definitely worth a visit if you like your meat.

A wonderful little cottage that welcomed you back at the end of the day.

Breakfast not supplied but welcome pack very much appreciated. Location was perfect at top of town with lots of local amenities and eateries.

Very good

Great Location, lovely little touches, nice soap candles etc. Lovely and warm, a nice cosy stay! Stayed for a week and perfect for visiting different areas in the Peak District.

Outside bins weren't emptied and overflowing before we arrived. Maybe the previous family that stayed didn't put the bins out had to leave bin bags next to the wheelie bin.... Could do with a few more sets of cutlery for when the dishwasher is on.

Gorgeous cottage.

The cottage was adorable! It had good amenities, was in a nice location and felt very homely. We were made to feel very welcome with a basket of treats. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for cooking, with good appliances.

No clothes washer was available, and the cottage has no separation from foot traffic down the street it was on also the internet was very slow and there was limited mobile reception in the house..

A well renovated cottage, maintaining character, in a perfect location. We loved it.

Clean. Nicely renovated. Full of character. Excellent location. Quaint street. Some food essentials and bottle of wine awaiting. Easy key access.

Parking was tight. If you're unlucky you might have to find space elsewhere. A small risk that's well worth it for the property.

Mid week walking in the Peaks

Great location just near end of the High Street but tucked away so still very private. Is recently really nicely done and main bedroom and sitting room very comfortable . Good access to pubs and food places, especially the Dub Kitchen and bar . Main thing was easy access to some of the best Peak walking including Chrome Hill.

Parking was okay. There is a long stay that charges and other free road parking, although we had a car near the cottage in the lane for the duration : so parking multiple vehicles was not problematical as I had anticipated.

Charming, well equipped cottage in a central location in Buxton.

It totally suited our needs and everything was done to a good standard. We felt comfortable and relaxed during our short stay.

Initially we couldn’t park outside and when we did it was a bit tight. However we had no problem once we’d parked the car opposite the cottage.

Good Location, comfortable cottage, that was fairly well appointed.

Mix up with our arrival date so house had not been cleaned after previous occupiers. This was resolved fairly quickly.

The Welcome basket and the luxury extras in the cottage were lovely , beds very comfortable, the cottage was lovely for a few nights away wish we could have stayed longer…. Below a photo of a visitor thank fully my pooches didn’t see haha Location was brilliant for us

My husband and I had a lovely holiday, and would definitely book the cottage again

My husband and I liked the cottage because it was central for everything, shops restaurants and sight seeing.

There was nothing we didn’t like, the cottage was lovey and the owners were very helpful, they left a very nice baskets of goodies, which was a very nice surprise and much appreciated.

High class comfortable cottage in a lovely location

Every aspect of the cottage was 5* and we really enjoyed our stay.The cottage has been renovated to an excellent contempory standard and the fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality.The linens and towels were from the White Company.The owners left a lovely welcome pack which ,like everything else was of the highest quality We would definitely stay there again

Excellent location in a fantastic town. Beautiful cottage, quality finishes. Lots to see and do. Hosts left a nice anniversary card for my wife and I as well.

Everything was to a very high standard, no complaints at all.

Lack of parking. We only managed to park outside the property 1/7 days. Car left around the corner on the road but out of sight.
