We loved the decor the cleanliness and the location.

The only improvement I would suggest would have been the addition of a welcome pack. Coffee and tea was provided however some milk would have been appreciated if in case of a late arrival.

Most enjoyable and would definitely return to this accommodation for the Buxton festival another year.

Spacious, very well located and clean and all the fittings were modern and appliances in good working order. The hosts were quick to respond to any query or question.

Lovely, comfy property in an ideal location

Beautiful property in a very central location with all the facilities you could need. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was very modern.

The only downside was the kitchen bins hadn’t been changed when we checked in so there was a strong bin smell throughout the property.

A wonderful stay in very comfortable property located in beautiful central Buxton

Location because it was near to all the town attractions with nice views and even a bus stop and supermarket nr by. was clean , comfortable and tidy . Very good family owned butcher and even a fishmonger near to property. Well appointed kitchen.

There was not a steamer pan which I would have much appreciated .

We did not a single one of the Buxton tourist sites and had a wonderful enjoyable stay!

Location! location! Location!

After travelling a long,long way to get there a nice "Welcome" tray would have been nice Milk in the refridgerator would be nice, Fresh bread on the table would be nice, a simple late-night snack (cheese? salami?) would be nice. It was a very pleasant stay - of all the good points only the empty fridge looked bleak on a late-night long-distance arrival.

Within walking distance of all Buxton has to offer, super spacious, and extra comfortable apartment

The only downside - 3 levels and steep stairs. I was so intimidated by the cellar steps we took our laundry offsite.

The spacious living rooms and kitchen were a delight to relax in. The tasteful decor was excellent. The location was very convenient. It was very peaceful, yet we could step out to whatever we needed. A beautifully cared for property.

A book of information to help us navigate things in the property would have been useful, for example we had a cellar key, but no more details. Also a few more mugs would have been useful.

Really great apartment, bigger than expected. Clean, all amenities present. Close to several nice pubs and restaurants (in Buxton) and in a great location to explore the Peak District.

Superb

Lovely well equipped (no freezer... not an issue for us) 2 bedroom apartment, 2 sitting rooms, 1 shower/ toilet located on sitting room level, 2 bedrooms are upstairs. Very comfortable, lovely artwork, very central to shops, restaurants & pubs. 10 miles from Bakewell. Towels supplied, bring your own shower/hair toiletries. Would highly recommend apartment.

Stairs is quite steep leading from front door to apartment & stairs to bedrooms. No toilet on bedrooms level... not an issue if you don't have mobility issues

Lovely, comfortable apartment, perfectly located for exploring the city and area.

Beautifully appointed with gorgeous comfortable seating! Bedrooms marvelous with wonderfully comfortable beds. Lots of outlets. Very well kept appliances. Stove, fridge, dishwasher, oven. Lovely decor. Spacious and welcoming. Beautiful bathroom! WiFi is excellent. TV instructions fairly clear. Shower lovely and great pressure. Wonderful resources for exploring the peaks: maps, books, brochures. As stated on their listing, there is no free parking but parking in the market square is based on availability and is just under 4 pounds for 24 hours and just steps away from the apartment. Shopping and dining options are plentiful!

Keys were absolutely frustrating! 3 locks, no idea what keys went where. 20 min struggle, finally, after two calls to Garry, we got in. Stove and microwave were total unknowns. No way to figure out what symbols meant and finally guessed our way through both of them to get them operating at some level. A packet of appliance booklets in a desk drawer were not for anything in this apartment. Full disclaimer: The fireplaces in the listing are non-working and clearly haven't been used in many years. The washer/dryer is not in the unit and are not accessible except for two hours a day (4pm-6pm) which you don’t know until the day before you arrive.

Perfect location for exploring both the Dark and White Peaks. Great chip shop across the road and shops nearby. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped, we had a lovely stay and would come again :)

A wonderful apartment

The whole house was very comfortable and clean. We loved the interesting artwork. It was in an excellent location, close to pubs and shops.

A very, very minor issue ... I’m partial to a gin and tonic and there is no freezer in the apartment for ice cubes.

Bathroom not on same floor as Bedrooms. No TV in Bedroom. Property too large for Two people. Stair Treads on upper Stairs Depth was a little narrow making Descent at Night to the Toilet hazardous.

Superb

This property is a real palace and very centrally located, next to the market place It offers spacious sitting areas, a well equipped kitchen and a nice shower. Finding the apartment and the keys for it is a bit like an escape room game. (Pro tip: Look for a beauty salon and natural healing office, instead of the hairdresser)

The owner does not provide bath towels. If I had known this in advance, I had brought my own. .

Very spacious accommodation in an excellent location. Ideally situated to local shops and restaurants the Opera House and park is just a few minutes walk away.
