Buxton Gem

The flat was lovely - from the kitchen, living area through to the rooms and facilities, it was great! Loved the local town - great options for food & drink and not far from Alton Towers with a beautiful drive through the Peaks.

Only small gripe was the parking

Great location but a few things need sorting out

Great location. Literally lots of restaurants and cafe bars right outside the front door. Plus Jubilee Park opposite with the Buxton Spa nearby. The kitchen was adequately stocked. For the two main bedrooms the beds were comfortable. The showers worked well and towels were adequate. We liked it when we said we were cold that blankets were quickly provided.

One of the single mattresses was so thin that it caused discomfort and the person decided to sleep on the sofa. The sensor lights in the hall are too sensitive. One came on everytime someone moved near the bedroom doors. In fact for one person, even when in bed turning over. So there was a constant stream of light going on and off. The lounge is a big area with single glazed windows on two sides so when the temperature dropped and it was windy we found it a bit chilly and could not find any instructions regarding turning on the central heating. These issues were all flagged up in two emails to the agency with two follow up phone calls but no response has been received

Lovely few days in Buxton

The location and the flat itself were both fabulous. Well equipped, very comfortable, and great location. Owners were really helpful.

Very poor customer service from Sykes Cottages who were the letting agents.

Excellent! Would stay again

This apartment was a great place to stay whilst in Buxton. It is in a central location which is great for exploring, the accommodation itself is lovely, clean and has everything you need. Due to the rain, in one of the rooms there was a constant drip that caused a minimal amount of frustration, but we let the owners know about this so hopefully they get that sorted for upcoming guests. It was also quite hard to access the keys to the property due the PDF not being attached to the booking.com email. As I say, very minimal though as we’d come back again! Thanks Crescent View!

Myself and the family really enjoyed our stay in the apartment, and would love to stay there again.

The location was fantastic. Whilst there isn't on-site parking, it was fairly easy to park at The Palace. It was a spacious and light apartment, which made it an enjoyable stay.

The beds were very soft so perhaps a firmer mattress would suit the majority of visitors especially those who suffer back problems which is quite common these days.

Large 3 bedroom property with a great communal kitchen living area everything you need for a comfortable stay. Located in the centre of Buxton near great bars and restaurants

Night and clean property and tastefully furnished. An excellent location in the centre of Buxton.

Not all the information was accurate in the property description, there were details given on how to access the car park and there wasn’t a parking space provided with the property. The owner was very helpful and managed to sort a car parking space for us after a couple of days. Also details on emptying the dishwasher on departure and returning crockery to its original place and there was no dishwasher. We were not concerned as to having no dishwasher as there were so many lovely restaurants very close to the apartment.

Location was good, well decorated .

Beds were poor in terms of mattress quality. Also curtains difficult to pull and one of the draw pulls broke. Needs string pulls for all curtains. Also location could be noisy at night. Whilst being in a se one floor pet ent meant there would be stairs but they were not easy with heavy luggage. Also expected but more of a welcome pack including milk.

Lovely quality feel to the apartment that made us feel that we were on a special holiday.

Fantastic location, lots of space. Tastefully decorated. Good quality fittings and kitchen appliances. Everything you could need.

A fabulous location, amazing apartment that is such a cosy retreat to spend time with great friends.

The location is fabulous and is in the heart of Buxton. The apartment is fabulous with fantastic amenities, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The christmas decorations were a lovely touch for the time of year.

Excellent location with lovely views. The accommodation was exceptional. The layout was perfect for socialising. There was everything you needed. The property was clean and to a high standard.

Just to be aware there is a lot of stairs to the property. It was fine for us but may not be very good for children or immobile

It is a self catering apartment. It has a splendid location and is very well equipped and furnished. It is also spacious and comfortable.

A beautiful apartment. In a really good location for exploring Buxton and the High Peak.

The location was great but there wasn't any parking at the property , so we paid for parking at the station.

A few games or pack of cards would help especially if a family were staying there. There are a lot of stairs to the property so you have to be reasonably fit. We had an 82 year old with us who did find the stairs a challenge, although she did manage.

Crescent View - a wonderful stay!

Beautifully decorated and well furnished flat. It was comfortable and very clean. Excellent location and lovely views towards the Crescent. Lots to do close by.

Exceptional

Great flat in the centre of Buxton, close to lots of nice bars and restaurants. The flat is cosy, spacious and very modern. Everything is sparkling and new and you have everything you need in there. The owner, Howard lives in a separate flat downstairs and we bumped into him a couple of times during our stay - he was very friendly
