Very cold.No instructions and heating wasn’t on and kept going off when we tried to get it to work.It was a cold night and property was very cold when we arrived we had to stay in coats until we went out 3 hours later. There was a gas fire with no instructions and we couldn’t get it to light. We were very cold

Well located house, comfortable , needs some maintenance.
Very comfortable beds. Nice and warm with good heating system. Great location. Quiet. Lucky free parking outside house. WiFi works. Plenty of bedrooms and beds. Dishwasher. Tea coffee and sugar provided. Very comprehensive fire alarm system.
Needs repainting. Lino in kitchen is not stuck to the floor so hazardous. Kitchen hot tap doesn’t work. A tricky step down between bathroom and toilet where two of us nearly fell so needs a warning.

Late check in 4pm and early check out times 10 a.m were restrictive to enable activities and events in Buxton

Disappointed that this standard is acceptable.
Location - which was why we chose it.
Disappointed with the standard of accommodation, namely: Two bedrooms do not have blinds or curtains on the Velux windows - I would expect them as ‘standard’. Restful sleep was not forthcoming. We had to try to put towels onver the windows to reduce some light. Bedside lights without plugs are just ornaments and of no use to at all. The smoke detector in the hall has a yellow dust cover on it - this contravenes regulations for both commercial and letting residential properties. The kitchen bin is full with a decaying bin bag - we’ve put our rubbish outside. The bathroom floor is not in good condition by the sink - I’m sure you are aware of this as it’s ‘fallen’ and has ripped Lino concealing the damaged floor. I’ve photographs of the issues mentioned above. The property could be good but is in need of much TLC and attention to remedy the items above.

Lovely house, great location in Upper Buxton with pubs, restaurants etc within a few minutes walk
Great location, managed to park right outside and left the car there until our departure which was ideal. Large house, great for large groups. Beds were comfy and furnishings etc were lovely.
A pint of milk would’ve been a nice touch and also the beside lamps need to be plug in not adapter as we had no way of using them.

Comfortable and value for money.
It was comfortable and warm…which was important as we had snow and freezing weather! The kitchen was well equipped for us. And it was centrally located within walking distance of the town and shops.
The attic double bed was rather worn out. A new mattress possibly?
