About this apartment rental

South bank is a beautiful late Georgian ground floor garden flat over two floors, just 5 minutes walk from the town centre and opera house. It holds an elevated and leafy south facing position with views over the town and surrounding countryside. The flat has 2 spacious double bedrooms, one of which boasts a super king bed. It has recently been sympathetically refurbished to a high standard by the owners. This includes, an excellently equipped kitchen/diner with a separate equally well equipped utility/pantry, a lovely, spacious and comfortable sitting room with a large south facing picture bay window and all the style and grandeur that one maykitchen expect from a property of this era.

The property was spacious and clean. It was exactly what we needed for a short stay in Buxton. It was conveniently located and we would definitely stay again.

It’s a lovely property, really nicely furnished. The beds are comfy and it’s in walking distance from the centre of Buxton. We had a really nice break and would be happy to stay here again. There was just a couple of bits- the parking was on the street outside. There was no space available around the property. It wasn’t too much of a problem because the road outside doesn’t have restrictions. Also, it was lovely weather and would have been nice to sit outside but there wasn’t anywhere to sit, unless we used the concrete steps. I think these things ought to be described as such in the advert. Other than this, it was a splendid trip and lovely place to stay.

This is a fabulous property. The owners have provided everything you need for a great visit to a lovely town. The flat is in a great location, it is so clean and well equipped and we can highly recommend it to everyone. Hope to return in the future.
