Location was brilliant. Lift access

Difficulty with lock. Easy to use but needed mobile phone to connect. Very hot in the apartment.

It's a huge flat right in the center of the city. Close to numerous restaurants, supermarkets,shops,pharmacies,sights. The magic way using our phones to get in was fun.

It's in an old building with all the needed equipment and appliances. There was just one thing that gave us a hard time. Finding the electrical distribution board . It was hidden under a picture totally irrelevant to the info picture behind the main door.

I am speaking from an Australian experience and and Australian that uses the main internet service in Australia being Telstra. The method chosen by the owner for opening the front door was messy. You had to have internet access to be able to open the door but no one in our group had internet as we are all Telstra customers and Telstra does not cover Italy at all as part of their international roaming service. I had to go out and buy the cheapest Vodafone sim card (40 euro) to be able to open the front door. This also meant we all had to travel together as we only had the one phone with a working sim. Once inside, opening the actual door of the apartment required either your phone OR a code. It would be so much better if the same option was available for the door of the apartment block. I have travelled extensively. Booked self contained apartments extensively over many years and this is the only location that had such a poor option to actually let you in the front door.

Amazing location. Amazing view. Very comfortable beds. Lots of space.

Three bathrooms but only one useable shower. Not good for a group of 10. Dead flowers in vases. A poor host (see below). Seems purely transactional. When messaging on booking.com I was pointed to WhatsApp. This is ok. But this is a bot, not a human. When the bot can’t answer it is diverted to the host, but then I was told off for messaging too late. A nice message on arrival welcoming us with an offer of tips & pasta recommendations. I asked for this and never had a reply.
