Ciao Bologna - Dimora Fossalta, a pochi passi da Piazza Maggiore

Location could not be better. Apartment overlooks Piazza Maggiore and is minutes from loads of bars and fantastic restaurants.

Out of three bathrooms only one locks. Entry instructions tricky at first, but by clicking on the link and using your phone to slide to make the building door open, then do the same to make the apartment door open you soon get the hang of it. You can also use a code to open the apartment door, and there is a key in the apartment that can be used to open the building door, at keyhole to the side. Some water in the fridge would have been nice.

Location was brilliant. Lift access

Difficulty with lock. Easy to use but needed mobile phone to connect. Very hot in the apartment.

It's a huge flat right in the center of the city. Close to numerous restaurants, supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, sights. The magic way using our phones to get in was fun.

It's in an old building with all the needed equipment and appliances. There was just one thing that gave us a hard time. Finding the electrical distribution board . It was hidden under a picture totally irrelevant to the info picture behind the main door.

Amazing location. Amazing view. Very comfortable beds. Lots of space.

Three bathrooms but only one useable shower. Not good for a group of 10. Dead flowers in vases. A poor host (see below). Seems purely transactional. When messaging on booking.com I was pointed to WhatsApp. This is ok. But this is a bot, not a human. When the bot can’t answer it is diverted to the host, but then I was told off for messaging too late. A nice message on arrival welcoming us with an offer of tips & pasta recommendations. I asked for this and never had a reply.
