Our stay at Makerti Villa in Selat was truly unforgettable! The location is breathtaking — surrounded by rice terraces, mountains, and pure tranquility. It’s the perfect place to unwind and experience the peaceful side of Bali away from the crowds. The villa itself was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed with an amazing view right from the room and the pool. Everything felt so serene and private. The hosts were absolutely wonderful — friendly, genuine, and always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The home-cooked meals were delicious, and we loved starting our mornings with breakfast overlooking the greenery. If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic Balinese experience with great hospitality, Makerti Villa is the perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed and grateful — can’t wait to come back again! 🌿✨

Best about everything, the wiev, the staff, the restorant, food, breakfast.. We booked 2 storey villa for me and my husband. Even open air there is no mosquito no bugs. We mostly spent our time on the swing. There is one projection for music or film. The bathtub and wiev amazing.Now my dream house is this bamboo villa 🤍

Magical place, the perfect escape. If you want to experience living in a bamboo house into the nature this is the one.

The location is far from the center, the weather is mostly rainy at the area as we were informed by the staff, so it would be nice if they had more amenities there such as a restaurant (which was close when we were there) or a spa area, or even a gym place.

the view from villa was really awesome The villa was also cleaned quite well

- Better not to count on breakfast and food in the local restaurant- the food is basic and overpriced - there is a construction going right in front of the villa and sometimes natural sounds will be disturbed with construction noise - without a car or bike nothing really to do around

The bamboo house was nice, but it could be way magical with the initial view.

The bamboo house is beautiful, and there is equipments as umbrella, insects products etc. The experience of bamboo house was magical, I like the bath with the view.

I was disappointed about many things, There was no WiFi so we was not able to watch movie or anything. The more important thing that was very disappointing is the view, on the booking picture it was very pretty, but in reality the palms disappear and there was construction around it. The construction also make noise. About the food, I was expecting better quality for this kind of property. The dinner was not super good and the breakfast was not good and very poor compared to others locations I did before. We had a problem of pee smell in the room, but the host came to solve it and wash the floor and the room fast so it was ok.

VIP stay in one of a kind Bamboo house surrounded by lush jungle and rice fields

This was a perfect 10/10 stay for our family. We were there for two back to back nights. Everything from staff, to the onsite restaurant food, to shower pressure, and even wifi speed was just great. They also arranged for photoshoot and tours for us, and were available on whatsapp with quick responses to help us plan everything.

TOP na Bali - nejlepší!

Úplně, ale úplně všechno. Dorazili jsme na místo a úplně nám to vyrazilo dech, nádhera! Vše do detailu promyšlené, obsluha milá, nápomocná. Procestovali jsme celé Bali včetně přilehlých ostrovů, ale toto bylo mezi ubytováními 12/10!!! 🤩

V okolí nic moc není, je potřeba pronajmout si skútr a vyjet, jinak je to spíš udělané tak, že celý den zůstanete na své vile a vůbec nic vám nechybí. Mohla by se trochu zlepšit restaurace, pečivo k snídani bylo tvrdší. Některá jídla bez chuti. Na kratší dovolenou vyberete, ale na delší už by vám bylo jejich menu krátké.

La beauté du lieu très Instagramable, la gentillesse du personnel !

On avait demandé des cocktails c’était soit disant « sold out » alors que j’avais demandé au préalable pour l’anniversaire de mon père des cocktails. Quand tu veux prendre des extra au petit déjeuner il manquait beaucoup de plat. Ensuite pour le service dans la chambre quand vous mangez, ils vous amènent tout le repas de suite à 20h car après c’est fermé. Mais du coups on mange les entrées et après les plats sont froids rien à réchauffer sur place. C’est un détail mais tout cela dénote avec le lieu exceptionnel c’est dommage !

Un moment suspendu dans la nature où tout est soigné dans les moindres détails

Loger au Makerti Bamboo House est vraiment une expérience fantastique en famille. Toute la déco et les équipements de la Bambou House sont soignés dans les moindres détails. La baignoire en hauteur avec vue sur la verdure et le filet pour lire le soir suspendu en l'air sont fantastiques. Le personnel est au petit soin, tout est commandable sur whatsapp sans se déplacer, le rêve absolu pour profiter d'un moment suspendu dans la nature.

Vous êtes un peu loin de tout, donc il faut manger sur place. Néanmoins, nous avons trouvé les plats savoureux (mais certes plus chers que dans un warung).

Geweldig mooi en sfeervol huis tussen de rijstvelden

Ontzettend mooi en charmant bamboe huis. Het ligt er schitterend bij en je hebt geweldig mooi uitzicht over de rijstvelden. De open opzet van het huis verbindt je meteen met de omgeving. Je kan heerlijk relaxen in de tuin of in het lignet op de eerste verdieping.

Helaas wordt er gebouwd direct naast het huis. Waar het idee was om te relaxen en van de natuur te genieten was er de hele dag timmer en zaaggeluid te horen. Dat haalt de hele ervaring naar beneden. Het eten viel ook wat tegen ten opzichte van de klasse (en prijs) van het huis. Ook is het jammer dat er niks gedaan wordt met feedback uit meerdere reviews dat er maar 2 stoelen zijn in een huis voor 4. Dat maakt een diner in het huis erg onhandig.

Superbe villa atypique à faire au moins une fois dans sa vie😎

La villa est magnifique, on se sent vraiment privilégiés dans ce lieu baigné dans la nature. La petite cuisine est un plus. La douche extérieure est exotique et ça n’est un problème s’il pleut 😅. Les extérieurs « modernes » ont un petit côté vintage amusant. Les repas servis en chambre.

La météo, comme tout les hôtels en altitude que nous avons fréquentez pendant notre séjour, nous étions dans les nuages tout l’après midi, ce qui limite /gâche la vue prometteuse.

Une expérience insolite en pleine nature avec une vue magique et tout le confort!

Endroit exceptionnel!! Lieu magique, la maison est splendide, hyper confortable, top literie, la baignoire est merveilleuse avec la vue à couper le souffle et le filet super agréable. Magnifique expérience de maison en bambou en semi extérieur, accueil top et super service! Le chauffeur Kadek de la maison est vraiment super, on le recommande vivement! Une nuit quasi à la belle étoile avec les bruits de la nature, mais avec le confort, ça vaut l’expérience! Pour ceux qui hésitent pour les insectes, vraiment on a quasi rien vu, quelques moustiques et lézards…

Juste la piscine un peu froide et le petit déjeuner était léger…

Prachtig uitzicht en lieve mensen die je graag helpen. Fijn dat je ook je transport voor prima prijzen kan regelen via hen. Het is echt adembenemend, je hebt echt even rust en ziet de mooie kant.
