Makerti Bali - Sanctuary bamboo house

The location was fabulous, with great views of the mountain whilst being tucked in a rainforest location which meant that other villas could not see into ours. An extremely clever design, with the pool, and outdoor bath and a nice fire pit area. Room servicing everyday made a few extra special and they had well priced add-ons if you chose to do them.

The roads to this location are very windy, but generally like you would expect as you head into the mountains of Bali. However, the last portion to the Villa itself is extremely rocky and bumpy. If staying more than three nights the in-house menu can get a bit sameish. There are local warongs for the more adventurous and they seem to have a sister restaurant at the Camaya which is just down the road within walking distance and offers are slightly more expanded menu. The Camaya also offers very nice views from their restaurant area.

Ein einmaliges Erlebnis! Wer Ruhe und Erholung will, ist hier genau richtig, in der besondersten Atmosphäre die man sich nur vorstellen kann. Die Lage des Hauses war super privat gelegen, das Team von Makerti ist wahnsinnig bemüht sich um jeden Wunsch zu kümmern und das in einer Schnelligkeit, die beeindruckend ist. Obwohl man in der bloßen Natur ist und wir natürlich auch entsprechend vorgewarnt worden sind vor möglichen Insekten/Tierchen; hatten wir damit wirklich nur sehr begrenzt Berührungspunkte - so wie man es sich in der Natur eben vorstellt, aber eher wenig als mehr. Auch das Essen im Makerti ist beeindruckend gut - man hat die Wahl es als Room Service oder im Restaurant zu genießen - ein Traum! Wir waren mehr als happy und waren traurig, abzureisen. Würden uns immer wieder für das Makerti entscheiden!

Eigentlich nichts. Einem muss bewusst sein, dass man sich mitten in der Natur befindet und es daher etwas abgelegen liegt. Mit Local Drivern vor Ort aber gar kein Problem von A nach B zu kommen.

Amamos nossa estadia no Makerti! A acomodação é simplesmente linda, toda em bambu, com uma arquitetura incrível e uma vista espetacular para o vulcão. A piscina e a jacuzzi tornam a experiência ainda mais especial, e os espaços são muito confortáveis e bem pensados. Nossa sugestão é reservar pelo menos um dia para aproveitar a própria hospedagem, porque ela merece ser vivida com calma. Foi um dos lugares mais especiais da nossa viagem. Os funcionários também foram extremamente gentis, atenciosos e sempre dispostos a ajudar, o que fez toda a diferença na experiência. Por ser uma casa totalmente integrada à natureza e aberta, eles avisam que podem aparecer alguns bichos, mas durante nossa estadia não tivemos nenhum problema e isso não nos atrapalhou em nada. As roupas de cama podem ficar um pouco mais úmidas por conta das características da construção e do clima local, mas também foi algo que não impactou nossa experiência. No geral, foi uma experiência maravilhosa e certamente voltaríamos. Recomendo para quem busca uma hospedagem única, cercada pela natureza e com uma vista inesquecível.
