Really lovely, quiet (overlooks a pedestrianised street), all new and very nicely chosen furnishings. Excellent aircon and comfy beds. Best thing is a 4 minute walk from secure parking and a 5 minute walk to the main piazza and all that beautiful bologna can offer!

Nothing really (a tea towel would have been handy, but such a minor thing! And there are 2 bathrooms but they’re right next to each other not en-suite, which I had assumed.

Right in the heart of the historic district. Large bedroom. View of the street and restaurants from the windows. I would stay there again.

Not good instructions how to drive to the parking garage. Apple Maps and Google Maps got us close but I had to hop out and find an English speaking man to point me to the garage entrance while my friend drove around the block a few times. The steel security gate on the front door of the apartment is difficult to open. It took several minutes in the dark hallway and I prayed we wouldn’t have to escape fast in a fire. I finally figured out the key has to be inserted just the right distance and if it spins but doesn’t retract the bolt, you must remove the key and turn it over 180 degrees and try again. No black out curtains if you need darkness to sleep. Noise from the restaurant below late at night. The two bathrooms are next to each other and have bifold doors, so privacy is not as good as separate ones with normal doors.
