Brilliant location. Lovely big modern spacious cool apartment and - for us - immaculately clean. I travelled with a friend and it was a joy to each have our own bathroom. Annalisa, the host, is so charming and friendly and helpful. Perfect accommodation for a stay in central Bologna.

This was one of the nicer places we stayed at on our trip traveling around Italy. The nicely decorated apartment was very clean and comfortable and in a good location near restaurants, the historic center, a park and the train station. There is a cute little balcony with a view of the canal. The canal isn't spectacular, but my daughters enjoyed sitting out there. It was so nice to have two bathrooms, which were both well stocked with soap, toilet paper, blow dryers, etc. - pretty much everything we needed. The towels were nice, and the sheets were spectacular. I slept well here, which is the highest praise I can give a place. We didn't cook, but the kitchen was well stocked. The host kindly left snacks and pods for the coffee pot. We are big coffee drinkers and really appreciated not having to hunt some down when we arrived.
The only thing to be aware of is that the washer is a washer/dryer combo. I was excited about the dryer since that's unusual in Italian apartment rentals, but It looked like it would take 3 hours to fully wash and dry a load. Since we travel with only carry-on luggage, I do laundry every chance I get and didn't plan on the length of time it would take. Ultimately, I just hung stuff to dry, which worked out just fine.

The location was amazing. Walking distance to many restaurants and historic attractions. Also, we had a rental car for sight seeing outside Bologna, and having a parking lot a 5 minute walk away just outside the ZTL was ideal. Finally, AnnaLisa is a very friendly and responsive host!
The only suggestion I would make is putting some small side tables on each side of the couch to hold a drink.
