Hotel Kalina

Welcomed, staff very polite and responded well to any request we had.

I like everything.

Quietness, good mattresses for a sound sleep. Excellent traditional breakfast: fried dough with big local cheese portions and confiture, cheese pie with yogurt, eggy bread.

Friendly personnel, restaurant just below the hotel and good location.

Traffic started from early in the morning and the windows didn't lock much of the sounds. The central heating system was a bit loud and the drain in the shower was clogged.

The Wi-Fi was better than in other places that we stayed in the Rhodope mountains. The Bulgarian pancake we got for breakfast was very good.

We were disappointed by a few things. The price was high, so we expected there to be something we would be pleasantly surprised by, but there was not. The bathroom was not very clean and the fan in the bathroom was very noisy and would always turn on when the light in there was on. We used the light on our phones when we used the bathroom in the night and in the morning. There were four of us, but there were only two glasses in the rooms. The beds were very uncomfortable. Luckily we were just passing through and only stayed there for one night.
