It’s the single most amazing property I’ve ever booked in my life

so many things – the view, the rooms, the pool, the housekeeping from Alma, the welcome gift, the messaging from Judith, the service from Billy, the location.

The umbrella’s on the sun deck rattle and they are located above one of the bedrooms, which can make it a little hard to sleep for the person in that bedroom.

Amazing! Would stay here again and again again!

Where to start? Nico picked us up at the airport, gave us the key and a tour of the house — he was lovely. Walking in the gate, the view took my breath away! Everything about this place is exceptional! There is so much space here - everyone has their own space, their own bathroom, and even their own outside space. The host left us a basket of local goodies and wine in the frig. The sunsets here are out of this world! Oia is amazing, but we didn’t even want to leave the villa most of the time. The pictures on the listing do NOT do this place justice!

Note that it is NOT a hot tub - it is a heated pool. In the summer that would be preferably anyways, as it gets really hot. But we were there in April, and the pool wasn’t quite warm enough on chillier days.

Everything you could want for a once in lifetime trip to Santorini!

The location is amazing for starters. Walking through the front door and out onto the terrace that overlooks the Caldera and Sunset is not to be beat - seriously a priceless moment for me. The host is also the best. We didn't end up meeting in person, but the service and response rate that we received via email/text was unparalleled in my experience when renting a private house/villa. The rooms were very luxurious and the bathrooms were all very interesting and unique. The ambiance and vibes were perfect for our group of five and spending the afternoons soaking in the heated pool are some of my favorites from the trip. I would recommend staying here 100% - honestly the best value in Oia. Do not hesitate to book this place, you will not regret it!

The kitchen was slightly small and awkward if more than one person was in there at a time, but it was well-equipped and functional.

Amazing villa with brilliant views

Place was amazing, photos don't do it justice. The outdoor space is brilliant and perfect for a group. There is a huge hot tub and it has two terraces with outstanding views of the sunset. The breakfast/lunch room is lovely and the two master bedrooms are great.

A perfect property for a perfect stay in Santorini!

"By the Mill" is a supremely beautiful property. It is perfectly located in Oia, and every detail about the house is amazing. All communication with Judy was easy and she handled everything we needed. I had a wonderful stay there with my four children and cannot recommend it highly enough.
