Paradise, a dream come true

Georgia provided exceptional service. She arranged for a porter to assist with luggage, met us in the cave house, gave us the keys/tour, made recommendations for dinner and was very prompt in answering any questions we had.

The location was magnificent! I would go again just to take in the views all day. Breakfast was great and always arrived on time. There's a lot of steps to reach the street, so make sure you bring comfy shoes.

Overall the property was amazing. The host Mary was super communicative and easy to reach. Everything was super smooth. The view was incredible and the location was outstanding with multiple amazing restaurants within 200m of property and hot tub was warm. Bed was super comfortable. Unit was very spacious. In unit massage booked through Mary was awesome!

The only critique I could offer for this amazing property is that the hot water tanks are very small...the shower only has warm water for about 5 minutes and 30 seconds before it runs out. We timed this...so we just took very short showers...

Perfect spot for family vacation

Very cozy space. Loved the help we received with our luggage. Made it easy with a baby. Breakfast was super convenient and kind of fun.

A lot of sand would blow into the property on windy days, but that is to be expected.

It's an amazing experience to stay in this cave house!

Fabulous ocean views. Beautiful cave house with a three bathrooms! I couldn't tell how big is the property from the photos on the website when I booked. It has a main building with kitchen, living room, main bed room with sitting place, one big bathroom, a small library area and a powder room. There is a completely separate suite next to the main building. We were over the moon when we saw the property. We also really enjoy the jacuzzi. We could see the new view from the jacuzzi. The property is not too far from the main street, but the path is up and down. It's an amazing experience to stay in a cave house!

The shower doesn't have closure. There were many people taking flying dress photos right outside of the property because it does have the great view. The blue dome is right behind the property.

very exclusive, spacious cave suit. magnificent view on the caldera and island, so good you have to bear some photo shootings literally every morning (not yet on the Instagram guide of must-have photo spots though). Great bathrooms, and à just extraordinary view from the terrace. The terrace is maybe not as a view guests would hope, out to the open of the crater, however it is covered from the sun, intimate (people further up can’t see you), and give you the shade needed as it is otherwise getting very hot- just food for thought🙃 . And then there is Mary who is managing your stay as much as you need and want to. Mary is sort of the concierge service but mostly the soul of your stay. Just great. I have not been paid for this feedback in case of a doubt😊

Amazing week in Santorini thanks to Caldera Houses and the beautiful people of Santorini.

We stayed 5 nights at Caldera House (see other review) before moving to Namaste (due to bookings) and we loved both. Namaste was very different, being a "cave" house, but less private and more steps. The cave design and furnishing are amazing, I felt like I was on a luxury Flintstones vacation! The set up is nice as you basically have 2 very private suites and 2 additional beds in the living room with a 3rd full bath. The service from Katherine and team was top notch.

A small microwave in the kitchen would be helpful. Please note there is a pedestrian walkway in front of the villa (as with many villas in Santorini), which limits privacy in the pool and front bedroom. Maybe an optional curtain in the pool area would be nice? As the pictures show, the pool is covered, and there is no place for sunbathing, so keep that in mind if that's your thing. The terrace at Caldera House was more private and had a better view/sun, but staying in a "cave" was also a pretty cool experience... hard to choose :). Also, there are some steps, so not recommended for anyone with difficulty walking.
