Central location in Buxton. Ideal for a solo visitor. 5 mins walk to historic town centre (downhill).

Great location, great stay however just needs a few tweaks to the property.

The location was great and right where you need to be to explore Buxton and the surrounding areas.

The amenities need to be reviewed and improved as there was only one fork between two of us, 1 wine glass between the two of us and just general lack of cooking utensils, trays and basic items such as oil etc. The shower and general hot water situation was not good and not safe as the shower was typically scalding with minimal temperature control. Additionally and out of the owners control was the general smell of marijuana/cannabis in the entrance hallway and up the staircase.

Buxton Weekender!

Location was excellent, central to all amenities and a great base for exploring. Generally very clean and well presented and offered magnificent views, particularly of the Northern Lights. Parking advice well explained.

Stairs up to flat were not great but we had been alerted to this. Would have been helpful to know how many flights were involved! Water pressure poor, pervading smell of marijuana from neighbouring flats.

jane is an amazing host and very helpful. house is amazing. go for it.

beautiful apartment and beautiful view. it's on the third floor. pro’s : apartment has colour and unique decorations which makes u feel happy and lively. it has a sofa, tv (with Netflix and prime video), kitchen is well equipped with utensils, stove, oven , grill, microwave. what else can u ask for. bus stop just down. Sanisbury is 1 minute away. there are plenty of cafes and an indian palace restaurant too. solomon’s temple is a 30 mins trek from the hotel. heights of Abraham is 1 hour by bus and 40 mins from cab. lud’s church is 20 mins via cab. Buxton opera house is 4 mins walking from the apartment. bathroom has a toilet and a bath tub and u have a view from bathroom too. you are provided with shower gel hand wash and towels. bedroom has a small study table, an ironing board, a hair dryer, a rack to keep clothes. the house has WIFI. All in all its good. and a must visit property.

Exactly what we wanted and would definitely book again.

Very central, shops and pubs all around, parking right outside and parking permit provided (although I didn't see this until day of departure - but v cheap anyway), and only a 5 minute walk into centre of Buxton. Flat was quiet and comfortable. Lovely views.

Stairway a bit off-putting, but fine once inside. There is a lift but not currently working. Bedroom door hard to open and close because of carpet.
