Rufloreo Flats 1 - central gem

It was all perfect! I couldn’t recommend it enough.

The flat is well situated, and parking is available on the nearby streets, though it can be a bit of a squeeze. In general, our host was very responsive and tried to sort out the few issues we experienced during our stay. We shared our concerns with him directly, and hopefully everything will be fixed and improved for future guests.

There were over 20+ artificial plants in the flat, but despite that decorative effort there was a general lack of storage, especially noticeable in the bathroom. The state of the fridge and freezer also wasn’t ideal. Another issue was the automatic light outside the bedroom which kept flashing during the night and waking us up, which was quite bothersome. We also found the approach to check‑in a bit disappointing. Most places we’ve stayed offer early check‑in or late check‑out as a courtesy whenever possible, but here every small extra came with an additional charge. It felt a little like booking with a low‑cost airline, which wasn’t a very pleasant feeling. The extra deposit required during the online check‑in process added to that impression as well.

Property was beautifully designed, clean and tidy with all essentials stocked.

Lovely furnishings and felt really cosy. Bed was really comfortable! Great HD TV and had everything you could need in the kitchen. The location was spot on and easily walkable into town. Everything was of high quality.

The parking was difficult. There isn’t a parking space with flat 1 and we parked on the back street. We were struggling to find somewhere and a kind neighbour came out to tell us that we could use a space across the way as his neighbour wasn’t there until the weekend; we were glad of this! We arrived at 4pm and it was still being cleaned so we had to hang around in the hall until she’d finished… the fridge hadn’t been cleaned but it was only a few bits of dried onion so was no big deal really. There was also some rubbish left in the bedroom drawer that I binned myself. Hot water ran out mid shower twice, but I mustn’t have read the online manual properly; there was probably a booster! The people staying in the flat upstairs were like baby elephants and it honestly sounded like they might come through the ceiling at one point, but that was nobody’s fault! Luckily didn’t disturb us too much.
