The location is excellent. The local high street is a 3 minute walk away and is wonderful mix of traditional independent shops and modern eateries. The city walls are only a 4 or 5 minute walk away so within 10 minutes you're in the ciry centre. The kitchen is very well equiped and clean and the house throughout generally clean. Parking was easy and we were able to park right outside the house for 3 days.
Both single beds were uncomfortable and we could feel the springs in the mattresses. Our two kids don't normally comment of the various beds they sleep in but complained about these beds. Couldn't get at any of the clothes storage in the back bedroom because the beds were in the way. The only toilet / bathroom is down stairs at the back of the house (i.e. through the kitchen). Though that is typical for this type of house we had just assumed it would be upstairs. The shower leaked a bit (through the shower screen?) making the bathroom floor wet.
