This hotel is located in the heart of copacabana with excellent views. Hotel has very friendly yet professional staff so we were well taken care of all through the stay. Hotel has very good breakfast choices and refreshing coffee.

Impecable location, service and facilities. Staff are very attentive even let us check out at 2 pm. Upstairs pool is marvelous with the view of the ocean.

Pros
* Great location overlooking Copacabana beach and close to everything you need.
* Comfortable bed and pillows.
* The pool bar was great. The views were awesome, the pool bar staff were friendly and food and drinks were enjoyable!
Cons
* The staff at the lobby and check in were not friendly at all (except one very young porter). The check in process was very long winded when I had already provided all the details they needed. But the absolute worst thing was the man serving us was snorting phlegm/making disgusting noises the whole time. This was extremely off putting and unprofessional. I’ve never received such poor customer service from a hotel ever (and I’ve stayed at lots and lots of hotels).
* Air conditioning in the room was very cold and even when turned up to 30 degrees it felt like 15 degrees. The air conditioning doesn’t heat either.
* Tea and coffee facilities in the room were bad. No tea was provided, coffee had to be paid for, and there was no kettle in the room.
* Bathroom soaps were disappointing.
* The Lobby had a noticeable sewerage smell at times which appeared to be wafting in from outside.
If I ever returned to Rio, I would definitely not stay at this hotel.
