The location of the cottage was perfect, right near bus stops, although we had a hire car, our friends live in Port Erin so really handy for jumping on & off without worrying about calling into a local pub & driving. The area is quiet, the local people are super friendly and happy to share tips on where to go & what to do. Everywhere was perfectly clean and tidy in the roads and the air perfect and refreshing. A fab spot to stay, relax and enjoy life. The cottage was fully self contained with great cooking facilities & washing machine too, washing lines & maiden plus washing liquids included. Beds were totally comfy & pillows super. Plenty of towels & hot water. The cottage felt so safe, although we did lock the front door, didn't feel that we had a need to do so really. Maggie the dog was a bonus, a beautiful friendly old girl with a loud but tail wagging welcome, she never made much noise and loved our attentions. Sue & family were just the perfect hosts.

There was nothing really at all we didn't like. If you were to be picky, water pressure a little low in the shower but perfectly fine for our needs plus there is a full bath if you wish.

Comfortable, quiet, nice location.

The weather was very cool for June and the heating was programmed to come on only if room temperature dropped to below 15°C, so the house felt too cold for comfort. We asked about this and were given a little electric heater which did help. So glad we had hot water bottles with us. The lovely looking leather lounge suite was actually not very comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic. The hosts were lovely and made sure we enjoyed the most of our visit! It was a home away from home and will deffo be our base when we visit again!
