Good facilities ruined by a poor management decision to allow dogs in the hotel but failing to provide separate eating f
The room was clean and good value for money
The breakfast was bad with poor quality sausages and barely tepid. The scrambled eggs were poor and not at all fluffy as they should be. Powdered egg? Might well have been. The tea and coffee came from a thermos flask? Not hot at all. Barely drinkable. But the ultimate horror……. DOGS in the restaurant! We shall never stay here again.

Wonderful Stay With Really Welcoming Staff
The staff could not have been more friendly or more helpful. We had to stay over a protracted period as we had no heating and water. But they were so accommodating and the room was lovely and warm and practically saved our situation. The price was extremely reasonable and I thoroughly recommend it.

if you are looking for a hotel , this is the one
all round brilliant hotel , everybody is friendly and helpful , hotel is spotless , room was excellent , nice big bath and shower , linen and towels were always clean , room was cleaned every day , tea and coffee facilities in the room were perfect , could not fault a single thing

Stayed here many times and everything about it is great. Love the pool.
I wish they did a better bar menu. In 20 years of staying there this is the first time we ate in the restaurant. The evening meal was lovely but usually we eat out because we want more of a snack.

Sleepless night
The food and atmosphere in bar has definitely improved.
The fan in bathroom was broken and made noise all night from 10:30 till morning. Didn't raise it at the time because we didn't want to move rooms at 10:30 pm.... The window had no filter and wind blowing through all night, understand weather was poor but this is basic maintenance. We stay here quite a lot and when we spoke to reception in the morning showing videos of the issues we had we were told of a refund and are still waiting on this. It's a shame because we stay at this hotel a lot though the year. Some sort of acknowledgement would be appreciated with this issues we had on this particular visit.

Beautiful hotel, perfect for a get away long or short
Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, incredibly clean bathroom and a very very comfortable bed.
On arrival for check in, was kept standing at the next for 10 minutes despite two reception staff sat there both looking at one computer screen. Was not acknowledged until 6 minutes of standing in front of them at the desk.
