Amazing place and amazing staff love the wine cellar!!

Breakfast was excellent and the guy Antoine really amazed us with his knowledge of the region and the wine, a good plus is that he talks perfect English .Another surprise was that they have there own wine cave with wine tasting and he did a much better job then the wine museum what was also available at Melnik. But Antoine did far better. Great job

The bed was a bid noisy but I should have told him earlier so he could have fixed it.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and great. The location is ideal. The winery is super interesting and the tour of it - greatly appreciated! Breakfast was great, with the view especially.

Great place to stay in magical Melnik

Slavova krepost is a great option for our weekend trip in Melnik. We were welcomed so warm from our hosts and we had a blast of information what to do in the area. At first scared from the steep streets of the old town, we were pleasantly surprised by the property`s very own underground parking.

Amazing Staff, great place

Clean rooms, amazing staff. Helped us with hiking routes and restaurant choices, also explained us a bit of the history of the town all in English. Rarely can you find in Bulgaria such helpful staff.

Quiet hotel in a quaint village

The road from the motorway to the village is brand new and pothole free. Clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. The young reception guy had good english. We didn’t try the wines they’re famous for but the restaurant across the street (that they recommended) was very good. The photo attached is the view from the hotel.

A bit difficult to get to. Parking is very limited for a hotel that can accommodate 20+ guests. Narrow, old, cobblestone streets. Breakfast doesn’t start before 8:30.

Exceptional

A nice newly constructed and furnished house in a traditional style, on a top location in the town. The host Antoan is amazing - very friendly and enthusiastic in telling us about the history of the region, landmarks, wine production and other interesting things. And all the communication was in good English. He organized a wine tasting in their own cellar, which is actually a cave in the specific Melnik rock. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The price/quality ratio is perfect.

Comfy, cozy, great service.

The service, the staff, the overall quality of the hotel. Great location, great winery. They also offer for you to buy bottles of the wine they produce. Vere throughout with the information and history of the city and the winecell.

Everything was great. It was our second time in the hotel, and we were impressed. We are definitely going there again in November.
