Ruined long weekend

Breakfast was okay-ish

We bookad a delux studio with sitting area and jacuzzi bathtub, but non of this was there - sitting area furniture was missing, along with the mini fridge. The bathtub was not working (turned out that the reception was aware of this issue). Also to have hot water running in the shower, it took around 10 minutes waiting and running the tap. In the evening the music in the restaurant was loud and we had to complain about the noise around 1a.m. In the morning we were offered to be relocated to a regular room in the quiet part and partally refunded or to leave and follow up with booking for refund.

Attractive hotel

Very attractive hotel from the outside. It's only a very short walk (5 mins) to the centre of the village where there are numerous restaurants etc.

It was slightly out of season (early October), and I think we were the only guests, so the ambience wasn't great. Our room smelled smokey. We were told that the restaurant was open for dinner, but we didn't fancy dining alone. The bathroom was typically 'Bulgarian' with a wet room style shower that floods the main room if you're not careful. It also had cobwebs. The water took quite a while to heat up, and to avoid flooding everywhere, the shower head had to be run into the toilet for several minutes. Breakfast was basic.

Nice hotel

The stay was quite good overall. The hotel was very clean and quiet, which made it relaxing. Dinner was really nice, the staff was polite and welcoming.

Breakfast could have offered more variety, and the coffee wasn’t very good. In the bathroom, there was no rack for shampoo or soap, and no curtain for the shower, which made everything wet after use.

A great escape in Melnik for every season, pool wonderful!

A wonderful location and the estate was combining everything you need to relax 😌! Food was nice, pool was big and gorgeous, staff was very helpful and made our stay a dream. Value for money for sure!

I would suggest the sunbeds and umbrella to be changed, they seem very cheap in contrast with the beautiful hotel and pool and gardens. They need something with brown tones or wooden sunbeds, ideally with cushions.

Clean with friendly staff, nice pool, food not that good.

Nicely located with a pool, the apartment was reasonably priced. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. The food quality is not that great.

There was no hot water in the mornings and the restaurant is really not good compared to other options in the area.

The staff was ok. The swimming pool area is the only nice installation in the hotel

The room was very old, the towel rack was rusty, and one of my blouses got torn when it got caught on the broken nightstand. The fridge made a loud noise. The bed was very uncomfortable. It says there is room service, but there isn’t—only after the third night. They should specify that. The floor was dirty, and the shower was tiny, with no curtain or screen (and since there's no cleaning service, the puddle is yours to deal with). A spotlight shines into the room all night, and the breakfast was very poor. You’re better off having coffee somewhere else.

The only downside was that the season (start of May) was not suitable for the pool to be filled. We will come back in the summer.

Excellent place to relax near the pool after sightseeing in the region.

Nice pool (only hotel with pool in Melnik). Food was delicious. Nice outdoor tables in the garden next to the pool.

It was in a good location, within easy and quick walking distance to the town center, quiet place.

Close distance to town center of Melnik. Great wine selection. Breakfast offered a good variety of foods. Pool was great - decent size and cool water.

The hotel doesn’t seem to follow the no indoor smoking policy very well. In addition, they fired up a huge chimney every day and night, and the smoke was absolutely disgusting. We had to close up our room, in order not to inhale the severely polluted air. We had no idea what they were burning, but it smelled horrendous and was probably illegal.

Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Large room. Nice view and location.

It was cold outside and the airconditioning was not able to blow hot air. We were freezing and had to have a lot of back and forth with the staff to fix the issue. They believed that we did something wrong. In the end they believed us that it was not working and we received electrical heaters that did the job of heating the room.

Unfortunately for the 2nd time this year no hot water in the morning. We where a group of 4 with 4 rooms..... also in April/May the same situation .... no warm water in the morning. Just ice cold..... probably they want to safe money and forget to turn on the heating. They told us that in 15 minutes we would have warm water.... but 30 minutes later still cold. The group guests left without showering..... not even a sorry or anything! The last time we have been here with our groups.......

We liked, no, we loved it all. It was clean, spacious, had everything you need when staying at a hotel. The garden with the pool are sooo relaxing and beautifully maintained. But the thing we liked the most was the hospitality of the staff and owner.

Cosy little confortable hotel in Melnik, very well located to explore the area.

Cosy little hotel at the entrance of Melnik, at a very short distance to the city center and the attractions of the area. Spacious rooms, very clean, nicely decorated. The hosts are kind and helpful, the restaurant serves delicious food and very good house wine. The breakfast is very good, too, and the hotel is really pet friendly. We stayed here in winter, we will come back in summer to check the nice garden and the pool.

Everything was perfect. We will definitely come back.
