We will be back

We went for a quick getaway to Sandanski with my husband and fell in love with villa Sintica. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean and we had everything we needed. It looks like their indoor spa was a recent addition as it looks brand new, it has a large indoor heated pool and a hot tub, I even enjoyed a dip in the cold plunge bath before heading to the sauna. But the thing we both liked the most is the food is their restaurant, which is phenomenal (the crispy calamari is to die for), and their wine selection is quite extensive. Couldn’t recommend more!

From the moment we arrived until the very sad moment of checking out, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. This is a truly stylish hotel where you can feel the care and thought put into every single detail. The rooms were immaculate, modern, and spacious, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows deserve a special mention. It really felt like sleeping on a cloud. The restaurant continued the theme of style and quality. The ambiance was elegant, the menu was diverse enough to suit every taste, and each dish was beautifully plated (a real feast for the eyes). Even better, the flavors fully lived up to the presentation. Everything tasted divine. The impressive wine selection elevated the experience even further, especially thanks to the knowledgeable staff, who consistently made spot-on recommendations to pair perfectly with our meals. The spa facilities were another highlight of the experience. The indoor pool was warm and inviting, with a dedicated kids’ pool that makes it perfect for families as well. My personal favorite ritual was moving from the sauna straight into the cold plunge pool – super refreshing, instantly wakes you up and it was the perfect way to get your day going. Breakfast was superb, with an excellent variety of options to choose from (a buffet style). Even though there were plenty of healthy options set out on the table, seeing mikitsa immediately caught my attention and I simply had to try them. They brought back childhood memories and, thankfully, tasted just as good as I remembered. Finally, the staff truly made this stay unforgettable. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt genuinely welcomed and valued. Everyone was friendly, helpful, professional, and always greeted us with a smile. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable and heartwarming experience.

Would strongly recommend the small amount extra for the new apartments with your own private sauna on the bottom floor. The room was stunning, and facilities excellent.

Good place to get some rest and spa

It is a good place to be at. The area is very green and the spa is amazing. Staff was helpful and super kind.

I think that some of the facilities in the room could be improved. For example the bathroom door was a bit old, and in general the room did not live up to my expectations. The rest - food and spa experience however exceed my expectations. If you are at the restaurant, be careful about the wineries own wine, as a lot of the wine is actually produced at other wineries. The wine was good but I thought that I am drinking their own wine, turned out that the wine was produced at a different place.

Amazing, delicious and relaxing experience!

I have only positive things to say about Villa Sintica! We have been going for 4 years, sometimes twice a year and we have never had anything to complain about. The rooms are clean and look renovated. The food is delicious and is some of the best in Bulgaria. We especially like that when we ask for the chef to modify a menu item to fit our eating/dietary preferences, they do not hesitate to accommodate our request. The wine is possibly the best wine being produced in Bulgaria. The staff especially Rosen are friendly, helpful, provide delightful conversation and make us feel right at home. I have to give a special mention to the breakfast buffet, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the banana bread and I eat most of it every time I am there(this time I ate 3 platefulls of it) !!! My GF loves the mekitsi. I cannot wait to go back!

La vita è bella at Villa Sintica

The villa is located on a hill on the main road from which a picturesque view of the Hills around Sandski in direction to Harsovo to the South, Pirin mountain to the eat, north-easy. The Villa has an open pool that we’re looking forward to try next time. What about the food, one of the best restaurants that I’ve been in Bulgaria. The menu is comprised of local farm products from the region and seafood from nearby Greece. Every dish that we tried had a personal touch and elegance. The staff was very polite and friendly resonating with the positive vibe of this amazing Mediterranean styled villa. We’ll love to visit again.

Nice luxury Villa with awesome kitchen

It was my second time here. Nice villa with sauna, steam and jaccusi. The best is a kitchen! Very good food. Internet was working correctly this time. The staff willingly helped to solve all the problems.

The English of some waiters was very poor what caused some difficulties. Sometimes we felt like not so welcomed, but it could be caused by our late coming.

Locality in a beautiful park, jacuzzi, steam and sauna were refreshing, kitchen was wonderful. So many programs in TV. I enjoyed the stay.

The internet was very poor on the room. Very slow with a lot of interruptions. Wasn't possible to do any serious work there.
