It has bed bugs and gets so hot over the summer . No proper cooling system.. limited 1-2 fans . We got terrible rashes while staying in this facility. Bathroom is so small and barely fits one person. I would not recommend this to anyone. Horrible place

For us okay, but kichten was poor and there was a smell from cigarets.

There was a lot of space, near train station, perfect communication with the owner.

A nightmare stay — filthy, moldy, and completely unacceptable

This was by far the most disgusting place I have ever seen. The apartment was in completely unacceptable condition — filled with mold, reeking of dampness, and furnished with filthy, stained mattresses and sheets that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. The towels provided were dirty and unusable. The entrance itself looked like we were walking into an abandoned, unsafe building, not a place that should be advertised for guests. Every detail of this stay was horrible — unsanitary, unsafe, and utterly uninhabitable. I cannot emphasize enough how appalling this property was. No one should ever be allowed to stay here under these conditions. It was nasty, unsafe, and beyond unacceptable.

The apartment was disgusting and unsafe from the moment we arrived. Mold everywhere with a strong, unpleasant odor. Mattresses, sheets, and towels were filthy — stained and clearly unwashed. The entrance looked like an abandoned building, unsafe and unwelcoming. The entire place felt unsanitary, unsafe, and uninhabitable.

Reviews

The price is fairly reasonable compared to other apartments in the area, and the location is also good. The cleaning staff were kind and allowed us an extra 30 minutes to check out.

The owner is not customer-focused at all. You call and message them, but get no reply. You go to their nearby house for the keys, you can hear them inside, but they don’t respond. They switch off the lights and only come after keeping you waiting for a long time. The kitchen sink is clogged, the washbasin is clogged, there’s no shower gel, no shampoo, no TV. You get an iron, but its plug doesn’t fit any electrical socket. When you ask the owner a question, he says, “It’s night, we’ll see tomorrow,” and then disappears again. I’m not trying to be negative or complain, but I hope new guests don’t experience the same issues. Switzerland is a dream destination for many people, and I hope they can enjoy it without such problems.

Convenient location and with full cooking equipment. Space is bigger than others.

Need to walk one floor and without any lifts, not convenient for old folks. Bed was not so comfortable.

It was just ok

Apartment is spacious and centrally located with lots of restaurants and super markets around. Also fairly clean and tidy.

No TV . The bathroom is small with sharp and obtrusive edges. Some of the kitchen-necessary utensils like (potato peeler, colandar, scissor etc.) wasn't there. Also the pillows were so thin I was sturggling to sleep. The host wasn't very communicative..

Passable

The location is great, and there is a good amount of space for 5 or 6 people. You can see the Alps from the balcony.

The apartment is a bit shabby and could use some repair. The biggest problem was that the light in the bathroom didn’t work, and the host didn’t ever respond to our request for it to be fixed. So we had to shower and use the bathroom with the door open and/or with our cellphone light. The responsiveness of the host was non-existent and that seemed like a pretty big deal.

Bad apartment, good location.

It is a big apartments with 2 rooms each, and big enough living room to fit in couple more beds. Location is also great, very accessible to the Centralstrasse which hosts quite a few Asian flavored restaurants, Arabic, Indian, Korean to name a few. Not too far from the Interlaken West station.

Irresponsive host, didn't bother replying to our questions. Non working heater in both apartments, we were left freezing on our first night, and floor too cold to step on barefooted. Luckily it's not everyday. Maybe it is better in summer time, but surely not in winter The apartment building is a bit worn down and not well maintained, there is no lift, laundry room not working (nearest laundry is at Toscana Hotel, self service, walking distance), bathroom is not in great shape but useable and thankfully there is still hot water.

A somewhat bad experience

Location is close to Interlaken west. That is the plus point. House is spacious. Wooden flooring. 2 balconies. Vaccum cleaner and broom is available.

No staff to help or support. Apartment key was handed over by one old lady whom we never saw again. Toilet was not clean. It had soiled marks of previous defecation. I cleaned them myself Only three bundles of toilet paper provided. When we requested for more, we got no response from the owner. We bought them ourselves. The bathroom sink had a bunch of entangled hairs. This too I cleaned myself. The beds were only with bed liners. No bed cover provided. When we requested for bed covers, owner said they have only bed liners. Room hearing quality was not good. For two nights we did not get proper heating. On one of those nights it was so cold in the living room that we could not sleep. Kitchen does not have following items 1. Cutting board 2. Water heating kettle 3. A good quality knife Communication with owner was a challenge right from the beginning. In summary, we felt the owner was never interested in providing a good hospitality experience. He just provided a place to stay and left us to solve our problems.

5 mins walk to Interlaken West train station. The house is warm and the apartment is quite big. Have Wi-Fi. We called the owner to get the key code to access the apartment.

The bathroom is small. No kettle and hairdryer.

It's very spacious and location is excellent. Halal restaurant, grocery store and train station are very close. Good view from balcony. Owner was very cooperative.

As it's apartment for families or groups living, We didn't find any washing machine. All other amenities were available. Smart TV was available where my small kids spent idle time. I recommend families stay.

Six bed for the family. Equipped kitchen. Average bathroom. Cute, though imperfect exterior finish.

Floors and table were greasy. Feet felt filthy and turned black from walking on kitchen floor. Lots of traffic noise. Laundry options not explained and couldn't reach host in middle of stay to ask. Seemed to have bees outside which kept flying inside through windows opened for the cooler fresh air.

Awesome such a great place

I would like to recommend this place for group of people and family. its huge also so many beds even you can cock in home as well.Many resturants are surronded by this place and Lidl walkable .. importantly 30 mins drive to Lauterbanne and 1hr drive to grindelward.

Alles ist sehr schmutzig, das Bad hat Schimmel, die Fotos entsprechen nicht der Realität, die Schuhe bleiben am Boden aller Zimmer kleben, so schmutzig ist es. Das Guesthouse Ferrari ist gerade gegenüber. Es scheint, es gehört dem gleichen Besitzer. Auch dort sind die Bewertungen miserabel. Bitte nicht gehen. Das schlimmste Aparment bis jetzt.
