Terrible stay. Terrible host

Location, very close to the city center.

Almost everything went wrong. The check-in time was 3 p.m., but we came back to the apartment after our trip from Grindelwald around 5 p.m., expecting it to be ready. I had contacted the host before arrival, and he guaranteed that the apartment would be ready by that time. However, when we arrived, he told us to wait because it still wasn’t ready. It was a nightmare — that day was my sons’ birthday, and we had everything planned. My daughter had twisted her ankle during the trip and needed to rest. I kept asking when we could have the room, but the host kept making excuses and empty promises. We finally got our room at 7 p.m. The lady who cleaned the apartment handed us the key with a terrible attitude, as if it was our fault. And you know what? She didn’t even do a good job — the stairs were still full of dust, hair, and crumbs.

no air conditioning in this hot weather is really not helpful, the fan didn’t really work that well all of us were really hot and couldn’t sleep. the bath tub had a big block stucked inside and it wasn’t very easy to help young children shower

Excellent location and amenities for a family of six

The location was excellent- our host left us with those thoughtful little extras that made us appreciate our stay- abundant coffee, tea, water and cola! ❤️ we had free and exclusive parking and best of all, we had a balcony with a view of the maintains where we had our nice hot leaisurely breakfasts (the grocery was walkable) and beautiful evenings with wine and cheese!❤️ perfect!

Clean apartment, great location and a great host. Mario was a wonderful host, he gave fast responses and greeted us in the front of the building and explained everything that was needed.

1 bathroom might not be ideal for the 6 of us

Amazing location and an amazing host!

The location, cleanliness, facilities, amenities, and especially the host. It’s a stones throw from the centre of Interlaken and all it has to offer, was very clean and offered everything you’d expect. The washing machine was available to use and washing soap was even provided (although we ended up using our tablets). There was a nespresso machine with pods, kettle with teas, etc. The host, Mario, was amazing! Very friendly and popped round to help when the cot wasn’t staying up on one end. He provided bedding for the cot too.

I think this property is advertised as having a living room, it’s not really a living room. You get a kitchen, bathroom, and small table and stools as you enter. Up some stairs and you can access the balcony. Through a door and you have one room with a table and two chairs and two beds, then there’s a mezzanine that has been built above with two further beds. There’s not really a place to relax and no TV. I guess when you have Interlaken on your doorstep you don’t need it but would have been useful with a baby napping and sleeping early. There’s also no AC, just two big fans.

Good, but …

Host Mario is very kind person and very responsive (within seconds we got replies via whatsapp) he helped in tourist attractions as well. Location is wonderful with mountain view from balcony

Apartment is like double deck with floors open (no privacy if 2 different families renting apartment or one family with teen kids) There was an issue with the sink in the toilet as the water was blocked. The host couldn’t arrange to fix it during entire stay despite it was reported immediately upon arrival … thats one reason why i gave it fair rating … with the money paid, i didn’t expect this kind of issues would exist and if it does then it should be fixed immediately

Mario is super friendly and helpful. The location is great, walking distance from the city centre. 10 minutes walking to the train station. The apartment is very clean and the facilities are great.

The bathroom lock isn't working, just a small inconvenience.

Lovely apartment

Mario is a very nice person. I was later for check in on the Christmas eve, he is there for me although is pretty late. The apartment is near to Interlaken West station. On the way to the station, a lot of shops and restaurants. Mario's place is complete with kitchen facilities, washing machine, even the compliment teas, it just feel like home. Everything you need, is provide. The highlight part of the apartment is the balcony. Jungfrau is just right infront of you.

We travel in a group of 6 peoples. There is only one bathroom. However, if you manage well of the time, it shouldn't be a big problem.
