Its location and size
We booked some other property after seeing the near about location and view however they have changed it at last minute.

Well we booked this place but due to some reason it got changed to another location but that location was nice as well .

When we arrived at 5:30pm we were told we could not stay at the property and we transferred to Central Park apartments. The apartment had one more bedroom and bathroom but was unclean. One shower could not be used, the beds were uncomfortable and there was mould in the bathroom. The bathroom door was broken and plastic rubbish stuffed into the whole in the bathroom wall.Wifi and TV did not work.
The new property was close to town but our original property was in the old town which we would have preferred. We did not receive our visitors travel pass, that would have given us free bus transportation in the town.

I really loved my stay at Place of Residence Jungfrau! The location is perfect. It’s just a short walk from Interlaken West bus station, and close to stores like Coop, McDonald’s, and other shops, which made everything super convenient.
The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. I also loved that they have a shared kitchen for guests. It’s well-equipped with a microwave, heater, stove, utensils, and cutlery, plus basic condiments like salt and sugar. It might not have everything, but it’s more than enough and I’m really grateful for that! Cooking your own breakfast or dinner here is a great idea since eating out in Switzerland can be quite expensive.
The bathroom was spotless and had everything I needed, including a hair dryer. The WiFi connection was strong too, which was a big plus.
And most importantly, the owner was incredibly kind and patient, even when my questions were already written in the notes 😅. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Interlaken.

They changed the house at last moment informing that the booked room has broken down. And the house given is very very very bad and full foul smell. The heaters are not working. 2 days suffered in cold. The bathroom is so tiny and stingy can't even take breath. And every where some or the other point sharply things comes out in bathroom and will injure you. Never ever take this residence.

When I arrived, they upgraded me to a better apartment as the existing apartment has been closed by the government. We were shocked by this, but thankfully it’s an upgrade as we got a bigger apartment.
The property is old and needs to be cleaned properly, there were molds in the toilet, very evident in the ceiling and bath areas. The property will be good if they can fix this issue.

It's a scam. When we were about to check-in around 1930, one guy came and said that the property was damaged with the bathroom and he guided us to a nearby property. That one was purely maintained. We found the dangerous bed bugs which is a serious concern due to no maintenance. There were no kitchen tissue rolls. There were poor kitchen wares which we had to call them again and he came up with a kitchen pan. Unusable cutting board. Broken kitchen racks.

This original apartment has terrible reviews on google maps mentioning bedbugs. We got terrified and mentioned our concern to the property. The property asked us to check in a different apartment from this one near interlaken west station (400m). I don't know if there are bedbugs in this one.
But our property ( different one ) was okayish - it was less clean but manageable. We didn't face any major issues. The heat didn't work at least during the daytime. At night it worked moderately. The walking distance to the station means you save the expensive swiss taxi fares. There was a kitchen where we could build potatoes and warm milk, etc. with some cutlery provided. I feel lucky there was no major issue with the stay but it seemed risky booking this one. Plus point is It was less expensive than other accommodations on booking.com.
No washing machine. The staff is minimally responsive. They will respond once or twice to a few basic questions but then become largely unavailable. We tried asking for heat but they replied saying it is not in their hands and stopped replying. If you face some issues you might be without any assistance. The bathroom is small. It could be cleaner. Didn't seem cleaned well enough.

The place was nice and decent. The owner upgraded our room due to a water issue in the facility, giving us more space. They also kindly offered to store our luggage since our train was scheduled later in the day.
The response time was quite slow. The upgraded rental had a strong cooking smell throughout the house — I didn’t really mind it, but it was quite overpowering.

Unfortunately the oven did not work in Apartment Jungfrau and we booked an apartment to have this. Things do not always have to be high quality - but they should work or be able to be used.
Thank goodness for the cleaners - they were the only staff we saw and they were very helpful organising our key and luggage storage.

Unfortunately the apartment that we booked had some plumbing issues and we had to stay in a different apartment located at the attic. We didn’t really care that much abt it since we only needed a place to stay for 1 night. But the floor was sticky, and the bed sheets in one of the rooms got some bugs/ insects. The place really looked like it had been abandoned before. At first, i really was going to ignore and not doing the reviews but just a few days ago, my brother got scabies when we got back home a day after. I really hope that the owner/ host would improve on their properties cleanliness and maintain their airbnbs in good condition since the location of the places are great.

Although the room did not include an en-suite bathroom, we reserved a room with a private bathroom, for which we held the key. Both the room and the bathroom were clean. A communal kitchen is available for guests. The location is convenient, and on-site parking is provided.
The cleanliness of the kitchen and appliances could be improved. It is possible that our experience was an anomaly, given our brief, one-night stay. Additionally, proper storage of garbage bags would help prevent the presence of food flies observed in the kitchen area.
Additionally, the accommodation appears somewhat expensive, though this seems to be typical for the Interlaken area.

The room has lots of dust.
The bathroom is full of mold.
Water in the shower room is stuck; it took a very long time for the waste water flowing out.
The shower room and toilet leak water a lot, so the floor in the bathroom is always wet.
The trash bin was full of trash from the last guest while I arrived.
The onwer/staff is always not there in the reception throughout my stay for the four nights. I can not find any staff/owner every morning and evening/night.
I had to wait for a while, then catch a staff member who just came back to the accomm, and reported the leakage.
The staff/owner was impolite; they provided me mop to mop the floor in the bathroom.
The leakage is a long-term issue and should have happened before my stay. They don't maintain the property very well.
Toilet paper is limited. They don't place more tissues even if you stay for many days.

The location was very good just 5 minutes walk from Interlaken west and close to bus 21 which goes to interlaken ost. We had a private kitchen and the bathroom and there were good enough equipment to cook a light breakfast.

I have not been provided the property what I have paid for. No bedsheet/ bedcover, broken furniture, no toilet paper in washroom, water clogged wash basin, no garbage bag. No parking space even though I have paid for it. Staff was very rude, unprofessional & not responsive.

It was a second jn a row in our journey that Hôtel had problem. It happened in Paris and again in Interlaken but excuses were same. Water issue in bathroom… they moved us into very bad place. Location was good but other things were really bad. I don’t know it’s hotels or Booking.com. We really had a bad experience. Mostly not going to use Booking.com anymore to book any hotel in future..

We did not stay in the apartment we originally booked. Upon arrival, we were told there was ‘water coming from the top floor’ and were given a different apartment in another location. The new apartment was in poor condition.
It was not properly cleaned, the kitchen was poorly equipped — there were barely any utensils or essentials for cooking. The extractor fan had no filter and was leaking grease, there was no kitchen paper, and no toaster (which the original apartment had and we had planned our breakfasts around). The microwave and freezer were not working either. The mattresses were very old and uncomfortable, and the beds were on a slope, so we kept sliding down during the night.
We also noticed that no one asked for our guest details to provide the Guest Card for free local transport, which is mandatory in Switzerland.
We had tried to contact the owner months in advance, but he never replied. He only reached out on the day of arrival, late in the afternoon. We requested the Guest Cards, a working toaster, proper mattresses, free parking (as advertised), and a late check-out (since the listing said 11 but the instructions stated 10). He did not respond, and when I followed up, he blocked me on WhatsApp.

The house was big with 2 small bathrooms and toilets. There were more 4 beds in 4 different rooms. House was very near to main city market and large number of indian restaurants.
Firstly, the house shown in Booking.com details was different than the one provided to us. Then cleanliness was a big issue in the house, particularly the bed sheets were not clean and we got bitten by so many bedbugs. I am having lot of red bumps on my body due to it and feel disgusted due to unhygienic beds in the house.

Some switches didn’t work and instead provide lamps. The bathroom also smelled and there is a main door and the master room has another key card lock on it and when we got back the door has somehow shut closed brcasue of the wind. It took them 15 minutes to come but the night before us a family’s card didn’t work the receptionist left at 6 pm and he ended up sleeping outside. Luckily we can early enough for him to respond. He said with broken English if u get stuck at night we might not hr able to help. Keep in mind the sunsets at around 9:30pm

Bathroom was separate to room. Had to go out into common area to access it. No air con, just a fan. No security on ground floor windows. Kitchen bin not emptied the whole time and was full and smelly. Kettle didn't work. Bedding basic and seemed gritty. Only one bedside light worked.

We had a terrible experience at this property. First of all, we were not given the apartment we booked and paid for. Instead, we were placed in a completely different unit that was nothing like what was advertised.
The apartment we were given was filthy. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly — the floors were dusty, the bathroom was grimy, and the kitchen was in poor condition. Worst of all, we discovered bedbugs during our stay. We were bitten and had to throw away some of our belongings.
The bedsheets and towels were clearly very old and worn out, with stains and an unpleasant smell. This was absolutely unacceptable.
We contacted the host, but they were dismissive and unhelpful. This was one of the worst accommodations we’ve ever stayed in, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this property at all costs.

There's a mouse on the property. It will show up at 3 am. That sums up the level of cleanliness of the property. There's also loose tiles and a protruded screw on the bathroom floor-it is dangerous for anyone.

When we arrived there wasn't anyone working reception or answering the phone as directed by check-in instructions. The room had lights that didn't work and there was black mold in the bathroom as well as the smell as a leaky septic tank. One of my friends emerged from the shower with the door to the apartment open with strangers looking in. It was confirmed that someone from staff came and left the door open and when complained to the front desk they initially denied it taking place.
