We enojyed our stay at this good and well located hotel in Interlaken. Would go again.

Location was perfect for us. Heating worked very well, the bed was comfy for 2 adults and the room was clean. There was even a small kitchen with a fridge and stove if one should need it. Free parking was available right outside for a few cars.

Shower head holder was broken and there was a slight smell of sewer whenever the room door was opened (lasted half a minute only, though).

Location

No extra toilet paper, no extra garbage bag… so old building, even the ceiling of bathroom was near to fall. I was so scared to stay in that house. You can hear the Sound of people walking upstairs…

Think twice about here!!

Proximity to the train station and an easy walk to main town

Booking.Com should be ashamed to have this basement room on their books!! Moldy, and smelly, one fork, filthy oven with a shelf that wasn't made for that oven, poor lighting.. none in the kitchen area, the attitude of two staff we met was not helpful. The Wifi password in our room wasn't active.. they hadn't taken old signage down. I messaged them on three occasions and never received any replies, including our arrival time and possible bag drop, but heard nothing! Also, there is no trap in the bathroom sink.. just a pipe if you dropped something into the sink it without be lost.. all just disgusting! Think twice about this place, please, esp in the basement room, but we don't know what other rooms are like

The only positive thing I can say is that the location is convenient to walk into town.

We have stayed in lots of accommodations over the years but have never had to give a review like this as normally we only have praise for places we have stayed. However, on this occasion we feel compelled to let people know about this accommodation. We obviously can't say what the other rooms are like but our room was in the basement. The room smelt damp and felt cold. The room was so small that you couldn't walk around it without bumping into things. The bed was uncomfortable and the duvet cover was like a wafer and the pillows were so old and soft it was like lying flat on the bed. The bedside tables were both different, were old and falling apart. In the kitchen area - very tired looking and grubby. You couldn't use the kettle unless you moved the microwave as no room on the kitchen surface. There was a glass missing out of one one of the kitchen cabinets and one cabinet had tape on it. The sponge that was left to clean dishes looked like it had been used to scrub the floor - certainly wouldn't have used it on the dishes! The bathroom - was so small that when you sat on the toilet, your knees were in the shower. The room was damp and had nasty water stains on the ceiling. Also, not clean. There was a very aggressive note in the room regarding departure time. Basically if you didn't vacate by 10am they would charge for another nights rental (there are ways of saying things in a polite way which still get the message over!). We don't think anyone would over stay, as if like us, we couldn't wait to leave! The garden was extremely untidy - old tools, bath, sink, plastic and general rubbish just left lying around. Overall we were so very disappointed. Although it wasn't too expensive per night, that doesn't give any excuses for the room not being habitable and welcoming (and it was neither of those). We certainly wouldn't stay there again.

Location

Overall the experience at the property was bad. Extremely dirty. When we arrived at the property it was dirty as left by the previous occupants. We had to wait 20 min for the lady to quickly clean the property before we could enter. The internet did not work throughout our stay. We requested the property manager but the issue was not resolved. The property manager lady could not speak english so difficult to communicate. 1st day it was hot despite being a 2 bedroom apartment only one fan was provided. Requested another one but did not get any response. The floor in the kitchen was sticky and the carpet in the corridor was dirty.The pillows were made of beanie and uncomfortable. The shower tray ceiling was leaking so unable to take the shower. Had a really bad experience staying at the property. Do not recommend this property.

This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. The host was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic manners or communication skills. The room was old, dirty, and smelled terrible. The bed, pillows, and blanket were filthy—absolutely unacceptable. The bathroom was wet, smelly, and clearly not cleaned properly. I felt disgusted and honestly scared to spend the night in such horrible conditions. This place ruined my trip. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Very disappointing.

We had to chase the owner up to check in at 4pm, then the room was not made up from the previous guests. We had to wait while the cleaner arrived then cleaned up! The wifi didn't work in the room and only intermittently in the hallway. There was an old oven in the alcove of our basement window. We were bitten by insects in the room. Very small bathroom and the shower wet the floor next to the toilet.

Comfortable Accommodation with Serious Communication Issues

The place itself was really nice. We stayed in Unit 1, which is the top unit, and everything—from the washroom to the amenities—was great. The location is also very convenient.

However, we had a major issue with communication. There was a support staff member on-site, but unfortunately, she didn’t speak English, which made it difficult to get help. We had a problem with the electric kettle and contacted the owner to request a replacement. Initially, he responded and said it would be replaced the next day, but that never happened. When I followed up a second time, he blocked my number. It was really disappointing, especially since there was no proper support available when we needed help.

Lovely few days in Interlaken

Very close to the train station, shops, restaurants, and other public transport to explore the region. Great size space with full kitchen/dining room and separate lounge room. Two good sized bedrooms. Small but functional bathroom

Overall clean and big house

- Smelly washroom, no proper handwash - Minimal kitchen, not even salt and sugar - Hair on blankets - unresponsive host, messaged him multiple times, he just didn't reply; asked help with heating, he didn't reply - the host didn't gave the local travel pass, which every other hotel/Airbnb in Interlaken provides. When asked he didn't respond - no clear instructions to check in, check out; had to wait till he resolved it with his colleagues

Great location but Not recommended

Location was great! And spacious rooms. Kitchen had all facilities.

First heater was not working and hosts didn't even cared. I tried calling, they will decline the call and for messages no replies. Second, they don't respond to call either reply to messages. Communication was horrible. Third, Bathroom door was not closing, anyone can walk in. Shower door had a gap. Fourth, wifi signal doesn't even get to Kitchen and corner room.
