New West Station

Very well located, just 5 min to west station. Close to supermarket. The apartment is big and is convenient for a family up to 5 or even 6. If you are mainly outside and only need a room to sleep it is a good choice.

It needs maintenance, some update in furniture and facilities. You can do self check in but in our case the property contact did not provide the guidelines on time. I had to call even after reaching the property owner because there was no reception,anyway no one answered. After several minutes someone replied with instructions. Then a woman appeared to guide us although we didn’t need it after the message. Bad experience

The location was great, just a few minutes away from Interlaken West station. It was also a few minutes from a full sized grocery store (Migros). The beds were clean as well as the apartment.

The apartment is on the older side, which is fairly typical for many accommodations in Switzerland and adds to its character. While the apartment itself was comfortable, the stairway carpets could benefit from some updating. As is common in many Swiss homes and apartments, there is no air conditioning. We happened to visit during an unusual heat wave, so the first few nights were a bit warm, but this would likely be less of an issue during more comfortable weather. In addition since we spent the days traveling around the area, it made more sense for us to save money on our place to sleep.

To be honest, I had read some negative reviews beforehand, so I arrived feeling a bit worried. However, from the very first moment I messaged the property, the communication was attentive and helpful. When I arrived, I was greeted by a man who was incredibly kind and allowed us to leave our luggage until the place was ready. When we returned, everything was perfectly clean. The kitchen was well equipped, the mattress was very comfortable, the heating worked well, the sheets were soft, and the hot water worked perfectly. There was also shower gel and extra toilet paper provided. From the breakfast area we could see the mountains, which was beautiful. The location was also very convenient — close to the train station and with two supermarkets nearby. Honestly, I have nothing to complain about. Everything was excellent. Thank you very much!

The apartment was quite spacious, with three rooms and a fairly large kitchen equipped with all the basic utensils. It was conveniently located less than a five-minute walk from Interlaken West station. Lidl, Migros, and several restaurants were also within easy walking distance.

The apartment could benefit from improved cleanliness. There was an unpleasant smell throughout, particularly in the kitchen, which suggested that it had not been deep-cleaned for some time. The floors and carpets also needed a more thorough clean. Additionally, the toilet seat was broken, and the bathroom space was very narrow, which could be uncomfortable for a larger person. Lighting in the apartment is also need some improvement However, the price was excellent for an entire apartment. We paid £206 for one night, which was very affordable compared with other properties in the surrounding area. Considering the low price, the overall experience was understandable.
