Apartment Laura

Great location for Skydive Interlaken, which was the purpose of our visit. Beautiful area, very quaint and traditional. Within 30 minutes drive of some great activities (We chose to visit Mannlichen Funicular, Geissbach Falls & Lake Brienz) Private underground parking was a bonus for us since we hired a car, but the train was also within walking distance, as was a small supermarket and a nice restaurant. Mario was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary visitor's cards he gave us saved us over 100 CHF on the cable car.

The area has a strict 'quiet' time between 10 pm and 7 am, which would be fine if it wasn't made a mockery of by the bell chimes, which continued throughout the night. They woke me multiple times every single night. Ridiculous when the bylaws state you can't even talk loudly outside or near open windows! (Google says it's not legally enforceable, but people WILL call you out on it) I will say, I am a light sleeper, and the rest of my party weren't bothered too much by the bells. But in the extreme heat of our visit, it was irritating not being able to cool down outside after 9 pm. (As per written instructions at the apartment) Especially since there was no TV & the couch was doubling as a bed.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment Laura, it is very convenient location, situated just few minutes from the station. There are two supermarkets near it too. The apartment itself is great for families, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped which is very useful. There is outdoor sitting area which was very pleasant too. Everything matches as advertised. Mario is a great host, very welcoming and gave us a nice tour of the apartment. It feels like home and we will recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely relaxed stay at Wilderswil.

Nothing to dislike

Location is perfect, very near to Wilderswil station. Space is enough to accommodate a family. Property is clean and well maintained. Mario is always there to support.

The host Mario is amazing and very welcoming, he guided us and even gave us a tourist card that helped us get discounted prices in the area. car parking and location was amazing too.

The house doesn’t have an A/C yet never think about opening the windows, flies will evade the apartment. We visited in July and the house was very warm and we couldn’t open the windows to circulate the air as flies and insects will evade it. Same thing for the bathroom there is no exhaust fan so similar situation with flies
