Affordable place in a perfect location

Location is 10/10 perfectly situated close to both interlaken stations. The room was clean when I entered for the first time and the heating worked perfectly. Everything else was just a great value for the overall charge of the room. Thanks :)

Shower was a little small height wise but I'm quite tall so it was not a huge deal.

Magic Interlaken. The room might be okay for 1 night

In general, this apartment is really very good! All facilities are provided and I see some attention to every detail in everything. You have kitchen for cooking with all facilities. The room is pretty warm which is highly important on winter time. The bed is comfortable even if Im not sure about its cleaning. The location is top (you can see mountain from your window) and can easily go on foot to the restaurants and cafes.

The main problem was a smoking smell which totally ruined my night sleep in this room. I can’t stand it, I couldn’t open the window to get fresh air because it was cold on December. The hotel owner is indifferent - a couple of messages for check-in, no any clear info and any basic care. Maybe she doesn’t know English but some “could you check-in, is everything okay, let me know if something needed” might be so-so basic, I think. Pretty late check-in and early check-out so basically for 1 night you have no time to observe this magic Interlaken. Interlaken deserves more careful attention and observation.

Good Stay and Close the railway station

stay was really good. Fully equipped kitchen and decent beds. Pillows can be a bit better, not used to that type of soft flat pillows but it was okay.

There is a leak in the bathroom where after taking a bath the water was over the floor. The water coming from the shower was too hot or cold, difficult to adjust the water heating level. Management can have a look in replacing the shut off valve.

Cheap and alright for a short stay, wouldn't recommend staying longer though.

Check in was easy after we got the code for they keys, and the flat is really quite spacious for the price! The location is also really central, it's just a short walk to the train station, the supermarket and some restaurants. Still, it's quiet because it lies in a tempo 30 zone.

As mentioned in other reviews, the place is rundown. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, and the shower sadly leaked water across the bathroom floor. The water pressure in the shower was also quite low. Additionally, the whole flat smelled of take-out like it hadn't been aired before our check-in.

Everything but location. No lift making it extremely difficult when traveling with luggage. No communication on how to do check in, no email, no texts. No responses received to texts send through Booking.com. We had to call directly to get instructions on how to check in.

Ok for a budget short stay

Having a private room with some basic cooking facilities. Bonus being able to cook! Location is short walk from main town.

The bathroom was awkwardly shaped and very damp. The main door is left wedged wide open and unlocked, other guests were very loud in the evening with music. Location sent initially was wrong, staff weren’t overly helpful to begin with in sharing correct location so was waiting in another hotel entrance as was bad weather on arrival.

the location of the property is good, its like 5 mins walking to the train station.

Our experience at this property was very disappointing. There were no clear instructions for check-in, and when we arrived, there was nobody at the property. We stood outside with our parents for over an hour, repeatedly calling but receiving no response. Eventually, a housekeeping staff member showed up and told us to return after two more hours because the rooms were not ready. The property itself is very old and poorly maintained. The kitchen was dirty, the linen was not clean, and overall hygiene standards were far below expectations. On top of that, despite asking multiple times, we were not provided with the local guest pass that every visitor is entitled to. The host did not respond to our messages either, which made the stay even more frustrating. Overall, we would not recommend this place— both the service and the property were far below acceptable standards.

It was cheap and available. The host also did not collect tourist tax so that saved money.

I sent a text message as requested, then the host immediately replied via WhatsApp. The host never replied on my questions and concerns regarding the room. In the room (number 10) the only light was a TL fixture. One curtain was missing the bottom part. An outlet did not have the front plate (plastic cover) installed. The water tap in the kitchen was loose. One indicator light on the electrical stove was on, but I never used it. I think this is an electrical fault and a fire hazard. I could not find a smoke detector and felt unsafe about it. In the bathroom the toilet buttons were loose. Another electrical outlet was missing the front plate. The sink took more than 14 hours to drain so I used the kitchen sink instead.

The location is perfect, you have parking for the car. For the price, is good. Was very clean. Easy to make self check in, early that the usual time

An electric kettle could be nice to have. The refrigerator make a lot of noice, impossible to sleep when the motor start. I unplugged it during the night. Pretty hot during the afternoon

Bad vibe stay away

Old rundown building. Badly needs refurbishment. I left a giftwrapped watch behind (a gift for my wife). As soon as I noticed I contacted the property, unfortunatley I was alredy in Italy. They said they found it and agreed to post it on. They strung me along for a couple of weeks saying it was posted and promising tracking details, then blocked me on whatsApp. Very dissapointing and bad service. I could not recomend this place.

We loved the city but the accommodation were very poor.

The location was outstanding! Wi-fi was also great.

Trying to contact the property manager was very difficult to get a response. Then when responding they were rude. The stairwell smelled like urine and pot. The bedroom sheets were like sleeping on a loofa along with the towels. We wanted to cook and the kitchen was lacking utensils along with the chipped plates. The fridge leaked and the bathroom shower leaked. The shower floor and ceiling had black mold. We were also not left any cleaning supplies or garbage bags to clean up after ourselves. Would not recommend this place!

Property not well cared for.

Location relative to train station

The bathroom had mold issues making the smell permeate the apartment. Flooring was starting to swell by shower. We were only able to stay one night and had to find other accommodations. Additionally, we were trying to update owner on our arrival time and could not get them to respond to messages and the phone number provided was not functioning. We ended waiting outside property for approximately 1.5 hours that night. Called Booking Customer service and they worked to get another place. But the one chosen was too small for our group and in meantime owner responded with lockbox code to get into property. We entered and stayed one night but the mold and general condition of apartment was not healthy or satisfactory. Moved to accommodations we booked separately next morning.

Don't expect too much for this price. But it's an ok place to stay.

The location was very good. It was a decent accommodation for the price.

As the other reviews already mentioned. Wifi was horrible. The host won't answer your questions, he will let you know how to check in though but that's about it. One of the windows didnt open in our room so it can get really hot in warm weather. The bed was small for two people. But it's very cheap compared to some of the other hotels here so if you just want a cheap place to sleep then i would recommend this. It does have all the other basic facilities you need.

The room come with kitchen, private bathroom and refrigerator, I can do some cooking. The location is short walking distance to train station.

The owner doesn't know speeding English, we need to communicate through Google translate. Now I realize why they didn't reply all my mails before I arrive. The owners and their children spoke very loud in the early morning (6:00am), it seen they didn't care about their guests. I had a piece of sandwich put on the kitchen counter in the morning, when we come back at night, I found the broken plastic bag with a hole on the floor and the sandwich was disappeared.

An exorbitant price not in line with the conditions offered.

I've tried to get in touch with the host days before the trip with no sucess. Everytime I sent a message they told me to use Whats App, which they never answered until hours later on the day of my arrival. Different from what's stated here no one was there to welcome me, pretty much the opposite - the host wanted me to know things I just couldn't without their orientation while I was already in the hotel waiting. To make things worse the tone of the messages was not courteous at all. The room was claustrophobic, located at the basement of the house and without a TV available.

Not clean at all. Poor customer service. No response to the calls or messages or email. Bathroom shower cubicle was blocked and disgusting. Reported the issue via message and email but no response at all. Worst place. I’ll never go to this place.

The bed was big. The location was very close to a train station and a Lidl. WiFi connection was good.

The oven was so dirty it was absolutely unusable. The layer of burned fat was multiple centimetres thick. Sometimes you heard the sound of either mouses or cokroaches running inside the walls but this did not bother me personally since they were not in the room itself. Refrigerator made annoying sounds from time to time. I have never seen the staff. The front door was just open and after contacting the owner on WhatsApp I got a code which gave access to a locker which contained my room key. For me this was no problem, but I had to help other guests who did not know how to get in or know how to use WhatsApp. To get check-in instructions you will have to actively contact the owner, you will not recieve it automatically.

The property and stay was fantastic. Very comfy beds, wish I had those mattresses. Really nice view and perfect location. not too far from the centre by walk

The only issue was getting the keys, the phone number provided was unresponsive on both messages and calls. We were lucky enough that we had to wait "just an hour" outside the property until another tourist came out and gave us the right contact number. After this it only took a minute to get the key from the lock box. Also, the shower leak water on the floor, need better insulation
