Great base for our family trip to Cochem with a fantastic breakfast and kind staff.

Such a quaint hotel with kind staff and an outstanding breakfast. The location was perfect for family walks and the room was a good size. The property itself is clean, quiet, and well maintained. It’s easy to walk around the small town of Ernst and a short drive to Cochem. Has close parking, relative to the property.

Lovely boutique hotel facing the river coast

Lovely small hotel facing the river coast. It is a classic and charming old house typical from the area, fully renovated. The staff was friendly and pleasant to interact with. Our room had a beautiful view of the river, not too spacious but big enough for a couple with a kid -sofa bed was comfortable for our daughter-. The room was clean and we appreciated the availability of coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast was complete, you can order in advance everything you'd like and they prepare it for the next morning (at 10 Eu/person). No problem if you come with the car, there's a big free parking area in front of the hotel. We had a great stay, thank you so much!

Given that the hotel doesn't offer other facilities besides your own room -there is a restaurant but closed on Sundays-, I find the price too high for the service they offer. The village (Ernst) is cute and close to Eltz castle, but very small.

Charming hotel on the Moselle

It is a charming boutique hotel with large rooms and very good bathrooms. I liked the quietness of the location as opposed to Cochem yet you are so close. It is very close to a wonderful restaurant called Pollmanns. The breakfast was good for 8 euros.

They do not have a bar area or good place to sit and have a beer, however in better weather there is a nice garden area to sit and view the Moselle. They did have a good selection in the honor refrigerator to take back to your room.

the location was perfect. we rented bikes and easily move around to Cochem and other small towns. Parking was easy too.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast in the garden was very nice as well.

Lovely B&B with character

Beautiful B&B, building with a lot of character. Spacious room with coffee machine and comfortable shower. Several tasty breakfast choices. Ideal location if you prefer not to stay at the city center (ample parking in Cochem). Karsten was very kind and helpful, no nonsense relaxed contact. I would come back here if I would visit the region again, which is highly probable. Lots of things to do for active people.

Really only the big spiders in the garage where we stored our bikes, haha

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt vooraf bestellen leidt niet tot verspilling!! En ontbijt was heerlijk.

Locatie langs doorgaande weg. Goeie geluidsisolatie maar met ramen open slapen lukt niet.

Der ganze Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war sehr zu empfehlen, die Zimmer gut ausgestattet und das Personal und die Vermieter ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns bestens aufgehoben.

Einfach wunderbar

Das kleine feine inhabergeführte Hotel strahlt eine wohlfühlende Atmosphäre aus. Schöne Zimmer, personalisiertes zusammen gestelltes Frühstück und köstliche Gerichte abends im Restaurant.

Ein Wochenende an der Mosel im historischen Pfarrhaus

Nach unserer Ankunft im Alten Pfarrhaus haben wir erst einmal im Garten des Hotels auf bequemen Lounge Möbeln entspannt und mit Mosel-Prosecco auf unser Wochenende angestoßen. Auf der Hotelterrasse mit Blick auf die Mosel konnten wir gut frühstücken und zu Abend essen. Die Zimmer waren ansprechend eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Der Charme des Alten Pfarrhauses ist erhalten geblieben.

Dazu haben wir nichts zu berichten.

Sehr charmantes, historisches Haus direkt an der Mosel – perfekt für Spaziergänge und Radtouren. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Besonders fahrradfreundlich. Zimmer schlicht, aber ordentlich. Großes, funktionales Bad. Der Gastgeber ist aufmerksam und herzlich – das nachhaltige Frühstück nach individuellem Wunsch war ein echtes Highlight.

Met de fiets aan de Moezel

De ontvangst door de eigenaren was heel hartelijk. Het was heel fijn dat we onze fietsen in de garage konden stallen. De kamer was zeer schoon en goed uitgerust met oa een nespresso apparaat zodat we ons eigen kopje koffie konden zetten. Ook was het leuk om af en toe een gesprekje te hebben met de eigenaren. Het terras voor het Pfarrhaus was heel uitnodigend, maar door de lage temperatuur hebben we hier niet kunnen zitten.

Geen minpuntjes kunnen ontdekken. In andere reviews lees ik over de bezwaren van het invullen van de lijst voor het ontbijt, maar wij vonden het prima om het zo te doen.

Alles bestens. Der Anbau mit dem Restaurant hat nicht ganz den Charme des Altbaus aber das macht es nicht schlecht. Schöner Garten zum Relaxen, prompte Bedienung und Service. Das Frühstück war prima. Am Anfang etwas anders mit dem zusammenstellen des Frühstücks für den Folgetag aber es war perfekt. Schön angerichtet auf einer Etagere und kein Aufstehen während des Frühstücks.

Perfekt für einen Kurztrip, nur zu empfehlen

Sehr gepflegtes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel. Die Lage mit Blick auf die Mosel in ruhiger Umgebung, trotz der Straße ist für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt geeignet. Auch unser Hund war willkommen und das Personal, sowie die neuen Besitzer des Hotels waren ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück auf der Etagere ist einmalig und man kann es sich aus einer angemessen Speisenauswahl zusammenstellen. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

PRIMA LOCATIE, PRIMA SERVICE!

Mooie locatie om de Moezelstreek te verkennen. Rustig, kleinschalig verblijf in Ernst t.o.v. het drukke Cochem. Ontvangst was hartelijk, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam tijdens ons hele verblijf. Samen met 6 volwassen kinderen hebben we een heerlijk paasweekend genoten. Prima locatie als uitvalsbasis voor allerlei uitstappen: o.a. een prachtige wandeling vanuit Ernst naar Beilstein en met boot terug, de 'Hängeselbrücke' in Mörsdorf, enz... Info in hotel en toeristische dienst in Ernst! En 's avonds konden we gezellig samen zitten voor een gezelschapspel en evt. nog iets drinken. Een échte aanrader!

Het bed was voor sommigen wat te zacht en het kussen te dik.

Een fijn, rustig gelegen hotel met goede faciliteiten.

Vriendelijk, schoon, fijn bed en douche, lekker ontbijt. Mooie tuin waar je fijn kunt zitten. Gratis parkeren.

Ik vind het jammer dat alle avonden dat we er waren het restaurant gesloten was, het was niet heel erg want we konden in de buurt ook lekker eten maar ik ben wel nieuwsgierig.
