Menu in the hotel far from ok. 3 courses but expensive sweet wine S much as you can. 20:55 I'm coming to the restaurant and service is calling to order now because in 5 min they close.. hesitation of 1 min. Sorry the kitchen is closed. Breakfast ridiculously savy.... nothing but juice, the fluid called coffee, egg(1),... 2 slices of cheese, 5 broetchen. Everything for 120 eur per night. No rooms conditioning, view from the room to the next room of private house. Last visit.

A lovely hotel with a super restaurant and friendly staff and great bedrooms and showers.

The breakfast was adequate for the price we paid. However, I would have been happy to have paid more to have had a larger choice at breakfast.

It was ok, but summer would be better.

Breakfast was rather average... nothing special. There is really nothing in the "village". It is a location for walking or riding a bike along the river. But in winter you can do some wine tasting around or making trips to the towns around. Directly in the location is actually nothing.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place! The staff was very helpful and friendly, and both dinner and breakfast was delicious and had much to choose from. We stayed at the guesthouse which was a quick walk from the reception/main hotel area, and the room was very clean and quite spacious. The spa/wellness area was on the small side but very welcoming and relaxing, and the perfect end to a day of hiking/exploring in the area.

Overall the place was great, but I would have liked fluffier pillows for a more restful night's sleep.

Superb location by Mosel River. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Wonderfully spacious old building, with lots of characterful seating areas. Great breakfast and restaurant. Very comfortable bed. This was my fourth stay at this superb hotel.

Lovely renovated rooms, with a tasty breakfast and restaurant. The wellness centre is wonderful, clean and modern.

Some windows face a main road, which could be loud at times.

The room was very nice, clean and sunny. The beds were comfortable and the wellness area was great as well. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with lots of options to choose from also including some vegetarian and even vegan options. The staff was very exceptionally nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was great as well, being right at the river and great options to go hiking in the vineyards above.

Great Overnight Stop for a Moezel Road Trip!

Rooms were nice! Breakfast very good! We needed some safe parking space for our Classic Cars, and the staff kindly helped us out and facilitated our request. Not far from Barnkastel-Kues, but a more quiet.

Service for drinks at the Inner Court ... staff seemed to be too busy elsewhere so we needed go fetch our own drinks.

Very relaxing stay in the Moselle river area.

Very good location right by the river with an excellent outdoor terrace. Bikes available for rental by the hotel. Hiking opportunities in the local vineyards. Very good customer service.

Our room did not have air-conditioning and good air circulation. However, with an open window this was no problem.

Kurztrip, Start ins neue Jahr!

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, direkt an der Mosel, Zugang zu vielen Spazier-und Wanderwegen. Das Frühstück und Abendessen ein Traum! Der Wellnessbereich rundet das ganze Ambiente und Angebot ab.

Eigentlich alles in Ordnung bis auf die Matratzen.

Es hat sich wieder mal gelohnt, einen kleinen break dort im Haus zu verbringen.

Der Service ist hervorragend. Nette und zuvorkommende Menschen. Das Abendmenu war auch toll und die Atmosphäre im Haus ist schön Saunabereich gut gemacht.

Da kann das Haus aber nichts dafür…- im Saunabereich laute Gäste (junge Familie).

Sehr schönes Wellnesshotel mit ordentlicher Gastronomie direkt an der Mosel

Fachwerkhotel direkt an der Mosel gelegen mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. Es gibt gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in den Weinbergen, Spaziergänge am Moselufer, Schifftouren nach Traben-Trarbach, Tagestour nach Trier usw. Sehr gutes Frühstück und sehr gutes Restaurant. Sehr ordentlicher Wellnessbereich mit zwei Saunen und Dampfbad. Es gibt einen eigenen kostenlosen Hotelparkplatz.

Die Hauptverkehrsstraße befindet sich 15 m vor dem Hotel. Der Lärmpegel ist aber nicht störend, da sich die meisten Hotelzimmer im hinteren Gebäude des Hotels befinden.

Mooi hotel langs de Moezel, alleen maar vriendelijk personeel (die ook lief waren voor de hond) en lekker eten! Ontbijt, flammkuchen en diner waren top. Zelfs een verassing op de verjaardag van mijn partner! Bezoek zeker Burg Landschot (prachtig uitzicht), Brauhaus Kloster Machern (lunch, diner, drankwinkels) en Donnerkreuz - großes Kreuz Zeltingen (ook prachtig uitzicht).

Lekker eten, heel vriendelijke bediening.

Heel vriendelijke bediening aan het onthaal en in het restaurant. De crème brulée was heel lekker.

Zowel om 3u als om 5u 's nachts wakker geworden van nachtlawaai. Het leek alsof er verhuizing was op de vierde verdieping/mensen constant om en weer liepen. Zowel door het venster gekeken als in de gang, niets te zien. Om 7u was dit gelijkaardige lawaai echter op het ritme van de wind.

Fijn, mooi, goed gelegen accommodatie met heerlijk ontbijt en diner

Fijne(comfort) kamer met heerlijk ontbijt in mooie ruimte. Voor ons was het prettig dat de hond in de eetruimte onder de tafel mocht liggen. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Mooie wellness gelegenheid. Vanuit het hotel fiets je via prachtige routes naar leuke dorpjes o.a. Bern Castel De herfst maakt dit gebied heel bijzonder ivm de prachtige herfstkleuren.

Er was niets wat ons niet beviel.
