Small hotel conveniently located in this beautiful wine region, close to restaurant and the biking trail. the rooms are clean, the breakfast was generous, and the host is very friendly. very good value for the money.

A Nice Hotel

We had cycled from Trittenheim on the second day of 6 in the saddle, Alte Schulhaus is in an good location and a we received a friendly welcome. There was a place to store out bikes in the garage which was great, The room was well appointed, bathroom was great and the breakfast offering more than set us up for the day. We were in an Annex building around the corner from the main hotel, which was not a problem although it would have been if it has been inclement weather.

As is common in German hotels, there was no Coffee making facilities in the room, which has always been a personal gripe of mine. Also, there is no provision for evening meal so it's important to go out and reserve a table in a local restaurant (important for us as we travelled by bike).

Good location for a Mosel stop over by car or bike

This location is useful for anyone looking to visit the Kloster / Restaurant, you are away from the main road so you get a good nights sleep , breakfast is plentiful with fresh rolls and coffee, the owner’s were very helpful to sort a travel document for us. Close to motorway for Hahn airport - Spa Belgium , also ideal for cyclists along the Mosel , with overnight bike shed possible.

The only thing for me that could be improved would be tea making facilities in the room.

Size of room was large, very spacious. Very clean and comfortable bed Free parking for bikes in a closed garage which added safety for the bikes. Great location for those following the Mosel radweg. Good breakfast and super nice and helpful staff in the morning.

Room next to kitchen is NOT acceptable!!!

Everything was OK except the fact that room was located next to kitchen. So, all the activities was going on in kitchen (cutting meat,vegetables etc) was clearly transmitted to our room including beautiful smells of all products people were busy in kitchen, This was really the braking point. Rest everything was clear, stuff friendly and cooperative.

Alles sehr sauber👍Frühstück super!! Sind von der Unterkunft nach Traben-Trarbach mit dem Bus auf den Weihnachtsmarkt 👍war kostenlos und der Eintritt in die 5 Wein/Weihnachts Keller war dank Besucher Ticket (erhältlich in der Unterkunft) kostenlos!!! Empfehle es gerne weiter!!! Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Het restaurant en de bediening, de hygiëne en het relaxte bevielen ons het meeste.

De muren waren een beetje te dun. Mijn dochter hoorde de buurman snurken. 😀

Prima uitvalsbasis voor tripjes in de omgeving.

Kleinschalig, rustig dorp, vriendelijk personeel, je kan je (huur-)fiets binnen stallen, je kan in de algemene ruimte zitten als die niet gebruikt wordt. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit mijn kamer op de wijngaarden aan de overkant van de rivier. Je kan buiten zitten. Er is vlakbij een klein kruidenierszaakje waar je uitstekende broodjes, koffie en water kan kopen.

Het is een oud (school-)gebouw en daardoor gehorig. De badkamer is erg klein. Als het raam openstaat en er buiten op het terras gerookt wordt, komt de rook de kamer binnen. Het ontbijt is duur.

Sehr nette Gastgeber,immer bemüht dem Gast alles recht zu machen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die hervorragenden Kochkünste der Chefin,alles frisch und super lecker! Die Lage ist sehr gut,Parkplatz,Fahrradraum,alles vorhanden. Super ist auch die kostenlose Benutzung von Bus und Bahn,toller Service!

Zimmer derzeit nicht empfehlenswert

Parkplatz vor der Unterkunft

Wir waren in einer Unterkunft in einem Nebengebäude/andere Straße untergebracht. Das war aber nicht der Grund der negativen Bewertungen. Wir haben für eine Nacht ohne Frühstück 96 € bezahlt, was die Unterkunft absolut nicht wert war. Lage aus Sicht der Straßenseite ganz rechts/Eckzimmer. Zustand: Verwohnt, Boden alter Laminat defekt und gesplittert. Waschbecken Verschluss defekt, Wasser konnte nicht ablaufen. Öffnungsriegel fehlte. Nach höfflichem Aufmerksam machen, wurde durch den Besitzer eine Bruchfliese in das Waschbecken gelegt, damit der Verschluss offen blieb. Entschuldigende Antwort war, ich habe eine neue Waschbecken Batterie da liegen aber noch keine Zeit gehabt zum Einbauen. Spinnenweben und extrem verschmutzte Ablagen. Tür und Fenster durch Insektenkot und Spinnenweben verklebt. Hier wurde definitiv seit langer Zeit nicht mehr gereinigt. Teilweise beginnenden Schimmel an den Wänden. Tier-Haare auf dem Boden.

Ideale overnachtingsplaats tussen Oostenrijk en België

Het gebouw is oud, maar binnen viel het echt mee. Ruime douche, rustieke kamer. Als het personeel afwezig is, staat er een drankenfrigo ter beschikking. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid.

De temperatuur liep buiten op tot 32 graden. Ondanks het gesloten rolluik was het te warm in de kamer om goed te kunnen slapen. Er is geen airco

Hôtel simple mais propre, calme et agréable . Patron très sympathique. Joli village au bord de la Moselle, à quelques km de Bernkastel.
