Barbara was amazing. Very interested to give good service.

The toilet was located almost below the sink. Uncomfortable to use it. Bed: It sound terrible. With some drops of oil in the joints could solve this problem

A lovely overnight stay

Plenty of space for two couples with Wi-Fi and information about taxis, etc. we came at a quiet time of year, so very little was open in the locality, but it was very easy to get a taxi.

too talkative host, and the agreed time of check in she came late to (one hour), there was an extra set of keys for all three apartments laying openly in the kitchen.

Lovely room with balcony!

We had a room with a balcony that had beautiful views across to the vineyards. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious with two chairs and a little table with a big bottle of complementary fizzy water. The shower room is very small but functional, but the handtowels are hanging next to the toilet instead of next to the basin and there is nowhere in the shower to put soap. It would be a good idea to stick to your given arrival time as Barbara does not live on the premises and we arrived early and had to call her. Barbara is very chatty, she has very little English but as I speak German this was not a problem for us. We sat with her in the communal kitchen where she made us coffees and gave us leaflets and registered us for money off vouchers in various places. As we only stayed one night and just wanted to pop into Bernkastel and Zeltingen for the evening we couldn't take advantage of it. We were able to use the fridge in the kitchen which was a bonus as it was a very hot day. Barbara also showed us the lovely apartment she lets via her personal website. As we are both vegan, she asked us what kind of meals we like and then went out to shop for vegan cheese and meat alternatives. She went to a lot of trouble and we had a wonderful varied vegan breakfast which was much appreciated. If you are vegan (even if you are not) we can recommend the 100% vegan Hotel/Restaurant Nicolay in Zeltingen-Rachtig for a fantastic meal!

far from town on foot. great breakfast

very friendly lady. great breakfast. continental and cooked eggs as you wish. very generous portions as well.

bathroom is way way too small. it’s like 2 square meters including shower…can’t really turn the body in there. and the location is not that ideal…too far away to the town. we thought we could walk back from town after evening meals but we gave up on the idea because we were quite tired after a whole day of walking. in the end we had to take the car and one of us couldn’t drink alcohol, which is a great shame for being in a wine place

Exceptional

A newly renovated house in the beautiful Wehlen close to Bernkastel-Kues. Quiet location. The owner Barbara greeted us like family and gave us a lot of useful information and friendly service. Higly recommended. A good nights sleep and great breakfast made our 1020 kilometer trip to Nice easy.

Ausreichend Parkmöglichkeit vorhanden, das Zimmer ist sauber und der Zeit angemessen eingerichtet. Die Gastwirtin ist sehr nett und bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Frühstück war liebevoll hergerichtet.

Leider kann man das Badezimmer nicht beheizen.

Zauberhaft Moselperle

Liebevolle und sehr gemütliche Zimmer. Das Bett angenehm hart - perfekt. Wir wurden sehr gut bewirtet und versorgt. Ein Doppelplus an „Barbara“. Gerne wieder.

Bárbara ha sido muy amable y atenta durante toda nuestra estancia. Recomiendo 100% Trato inmejorable y las instalaciones muy bien. Muy buena ubicación. Nos ha encantado.

El baño de la habitación era muy pequeño aunque tenía todos los detalles que necesitas (baldas para dejar tus cosas y para colgar la toalla) però sentado en el wc te dabas con el lavabo.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, hat alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen: helles, freundliches, sauberes Zimmer, es wurde nach Frühstückswünschen gefragt (!!!), die auch an einem liebevoll gedeckten Tisch erfüllt wurden. Alles war sauber, modern und sehr, sehr freundlich. Großes Lob an die Betreiberin und ganz klare Empfehlung!

Bei Barbara fühlt man sich sofort wie zu Hause☺️ sie ist super freundlich und sehr gesellig. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker, das Zimmer sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Auch die Parkmöglichkeiten sind top und der Preis mehr als fair.

Zwischendstopp

Die super nette Chefin die mit Liebe zum Detail die wunderschöne Zimmer hergerichtet hat das man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Mit Liebe ein reichhaltiges Frühstück gezaubert hat und unser Hund Flecki auch willkommen war. Das preisleistungverhältnis stimmt auch der Ausblick auf die Mittelmosel und das ein sehr schönes griechisches Lokal ca 400m entfernt ist sehr gute Bedienung und schnell das Essen kam Hunde dort auch willkommen sind.
