Fantastic find, highly recommend

Smooth access process. Comfortable room and bed. Helpful person on hand. Bike storage was good. Washing machines and driers a fantastic bonus. The very spacious and well-equipped kitchen with great dining areas. Great garden at rear.

The road noise but we'd still go there again for all the facilities

Very relaxing. Go during the summer to enjoy all the wineries.

The Junior Suite with a garden view was perfect for our family. The main sleeping area included a sofa and table. The second bedroom had two twin beds that were perfect for my older teenagers. The balcony gave us extra room to spread out. We enjoyed our morning tea and coffee in the community kitchen. It was great to have a laundry facility.

Parking in the lot at the guesthouse was limited and required backing out onto the main road. There was easier parking one street over that we preferred to use.

Very cute and convenient

Super lovely, nicely decorated house with a very well equipped and tidy kitchen. Didn’t meet anyone of the staff, nonetheless it felt safe and welcoming.

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

The check-in procedure is simple (automat). Just remember to have your passport available. You always get your favorite breakfast as you have to prepare it yourself. In the next town, you can buy whatever you like for your morning meal. A very well-equipped kitchen is available with top appliances and all you need to enjoy a perfect breakfast. You will find a nice restaurant across the street and down the alley. Just remember to book a table in the morning.

The refrigerator in the room is relatively small for keeping the food and beverages cold. Parking spaces are limited, and the busy street outside the hotel makes getting in and out with a car a little challenging.

The staff is nice and helpful. There are many attractions nearby.

We booked a family room. Unfortunately, it is very small for 3 people. We can choose another room, but unfortunately you had to pay an extra price for it.There is no door on the shower in the room. This makes the bath not so pleasant.

Couple with a dog

Great location and beautifully decorated. Big garden in the back with plenty of seats. The kitchen was amazing.

The bathroom of our room was extremely small. Luckily, we are slim. Otherwise, we'd have had a problem. The bed was too soft for our liking.

Perfect place for Riesling lovers.

Lovely large room with balcony looking out over garden. Large comfortable double bed, separate room for our son. Modern bathroom. Downstairs had a kitchen with great bean to cup coffee available at any time. A few minutes walk from the river. If you like your Mosel Riesling a great place to stay. The hotel was quiet early June and we were kindly upgraded to a larger room at no charge.

quiet & cozy getaway

everything was just like in the pictures, room was clean, beds are super comfortable, hotel is very dog friendly and the host was so nice! the check-in machine is really easy to use, too. we had a wonderful 2 night stay, would definitely recommend!

staffs are late to reply for questions, and for some reason i didn’t get instructions upon check in. luckily it wasn’t complicated but i wished i was informed that there’s no staff on the site.

Unfortunately we had to leave early Sunday morning to catch our return flight home so we missed the breakfast even though we had paid for it in advance, our mistake. I prefer meeting someone rather than an electronic check-in. It would have helped for dinner recommendations and breakfast hours, but we recognize that it is probably going to be prevalent in the future to use an automated check-in process.

Great Location, convenient DIY breakfast concept with coffee/tea and outdoor seating. 50m from a great bakery for the breakfast essentials. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The self-serve honesty wine fridge with wines between 10 - 15 Euro was a smart idea.

Good hotel, too high cost for a room without aircon.

missing air con: room in the old building on top floor under the roof in summer: this means more then 30 degrees at night. Opening the window does help a little but the street is loud and makes you wake up a lot. in summer only a air con would be a solution. so do not take the historic room suite in summer, sleeping is basically impossible.

Easy check - in. The guy who greeted us was very helpful with finding bike hire locally. We had a two room apartment all very clean and comfortable.

Good

We really liked this hotel. The self-check-in was quick and easy, the room was big enough with a balcony looking out on a nice garden, the bathroom huge and modern. No breakfast but you can buy food at the bakery next door (even on Sundays but prepare for a queue) and there are plenty of tables around to eat it, including on the balcony, in the garden, in the dining room or on the street terrace. You can get coffee/tea from the kitchen. We had dinner at Joffer Flair, 2 minutes from the hotel (best booked). The parking was full but we easily found a place down by the river.

Two small suggestions for improvement: a mosquito net on the bathroom window so we can leave it open for the night (after all, the hotel is close to a river), and some more child-friendly drinks for breakfast (cocoa, hot chocolate, fruit tea - there is "only" coffee, hot milk, black tea, rooibos and green tea, rather an adult-friendly selection).
