Relax weekend in Ernst

the location is really good just a bit outside Cochem. The hotel have it's own wine shop and offer free wine tasting for its guests. The terrace is really nice as you can sit outside enjoy some fresh drinks or a glass of wine in warm weather. The dinner is ok, we found the weekend menu is better than the weeks days.

the wi-fi can be a bit faster, and it would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the room (though you can use the mini bar at the common area

Nice stay near Cochem

- Parking in front of hotel. - Good buffet breakfast. - Good location , only 5 min drive from Cochem. - Friendly staff. - Good pillows ( better then those standard no fill pillows in many hotels).

- In our room ( backside hotel) the WiFI signal was very poor.

Wonderful location outside Cochem; super-easy to reach from Mosel path; really good wine list — including a Barrique; safe storage for bicycles; great breakfast.

Really not a complaint — apparently one cannot always have dinner without upfront reservation, but the cheese buffet was great.

Always nice to visit here. It has a great location and top facilities.

Wonderful location - set back from the River Mosel and surrounded by vineyards. The 5km walk to Cochem initially through the vineyards is just great. The view from my room towards Cochem was magnificient, and it was lovely to be able to sit on the balcony and take it in.

Room rates are not cheap here, so why charge €2-50 for a 500ml bottle of water left in the room? Surely the business can make that free?

Tip: rent bikes to see the beautiful surroundings

Nice hotel in a nice quiet area! We rented bikes via Mosel Kanu Tours at a walking distance from the hotel and explored the surroundings by bike. With a 15 min bike ride you're in Cochem, which is a very nice village. Another nice village is Beilstein! The hotel was fine, breakfast was good (I preferred more warm options).

We booked a wine tasting but this was unfortunately only in German, we didn't understand a lot. That was our own fault, we didn't check this on forehand. But in general, we enjoyed our stay!

Zeker goed voor een kort verblijf, want het weer viel wat tegen

Mooie gerieflijke kamer met balkon, rustig gelegen, wel was het stappen van de buren te horen, maar dat stopte rond 22.00u. Goed kast, klein bureautje met stoeltje, twee zeteltjes en tafeltje, bed niet te hard en niet te zacht. Kleine badkamer met douche, maar voldeed wel. Het ontbijt was goed en voldoende, geen croissant of koffiekoek.

In kamer 15 was het bed aan de rechterkant eenzijdig nogal schuin aflopend.

Wunderbare Unterkunft

Es war alles sehr in Ordnung. Frau Andrae (Besitzerin) hat sich vorzüglich um unsere Wünsche gekümmert und es ermöglicht, dass unser Anhang mit uns unterkommt. Aufgrund der Ausbuchung des Haupthauses, musste ein Teil eine Nacht im Nebenhaus unterkommen. Dies jedoch zu einem sehr fairen Preis für 2 Zimmer. Die top ausgestatteten und modernen Zimmer im Haupthaus, die vorzüglichen Matratzen und nicht zuletzt, das umfangreiche Frühstück, ließen keine Wünsche offen. Eine toll moderierte Weinprobe war inbegriffen. Herz, was willst Du mehr? Wir buchen dort jederzeit gerne wieder.

De rondleiding en uitleg in de wijnkelder ! Goede gids. Iedere dag uitgebreide saladebar voor het avondeten en later op de avond is er nog een kaastafel . Àlles inbegrepen bij halfpension.

De matrassen waren erg hard . Is natuurlijk persoonlijk.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich.Die Begrüssung sehr zuvorkommend nett.Frühstück war sehr gut,öfter mal etwas andere Wurst oder Käse.Brötchen wurden schnell aufgefüllt.Menueangebot zur Halbpension war sehr schmackhaft und abwechslungsreich.

Ein sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel, tolles Frühstück, mit großem Garten und leckeren Weinen.

Wir hatten ein schönes großes Zimmer mit Balkon im ersten Stock. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und neu gestaltet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und es war sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Hochwertige Wurst,- und Käsewaren, regional. Quark, Joghurt, Obst, frische Bäckerbrötchen, Brot, Eierspeisen usw... Am Abend haben wir immer im Garten ( sogar mit Wärmelampe )den Wein aus dem Weingut genossen. Das angebotene Abendessen haben wir 1x genossen. Das war sehr lecker. Die Weinprobe, die im Hotel angeboten wurde, war richtig gut. Informativ, die dazu angegebenen Weine und Dips auch.

Die positiven Punkte überwiegen eindeutig und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Möbel waren neu, schöne Holzmöbel und ein modernes Polsterbett. Die Sessel im Zimmer passten sehr gut zum übrigen Mobiliar. Der Balkon mit Blick auf den Weinberg ist sehr schön. Das Restaurant hat lange geöffnet, so dass man auch nach einem Ausflug noch etwas Leckeres trinken kann. Das Essen muss vorbestellt werden. Ebenfalls gibt es einen Kühlschrank im Flur für Gäste. Es gibt ein qualitativ tolles Frühstück. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze am Haus.

Die Armaturen im Bad waren leider sehr verkalkt und die Heizung, die gleichzeitig als Handtuchhalter dient, war leider sehr schmutzig. Die Handtücher waren sehr alt, teilweise kaputt und einige haben übel gerochen. Es gibt leider keinen Aufzug. Man muss die Koffer, also bis in den 1. oder 2. Stock tragen.

Wunderschönes freundliches Hotel

Es ist einfach nur schön hier! Schöne, moderne, komfortable Zimmer. Super hochwertig ausgestattet. Wir hatten Blick auf den Weinberg vom Bett aus. Die Betten waren die bequemsten, die ich in einem Hotel je hatte. Es gab ein Hightech Kissen (inkl Werbung) und ein normales zur Auswahl. Schöner Balkon mit super bequemen Hängesessel. Badezimmer war modern und bei uns sogar barrierefrei. Super fand ich auch, dass man dank Außenrolläden das Zimmer komplett verdunkeln konnte. Man kann bis 15 Uhr entscheiden, ob man abends im Hotel essen möchte, das haben wir auch genutzt und es ware lecker und empfehlenswert. Wenn man mal nur was leichtes zum Abend möchte, kann man auch nut Salatbuffet wählen. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Die Wurst-/Käseauswahl war groß und ich fand vor allem die Kaffeesituation gut gelöst. Es gab sowohl einen Vollautomaten mit richtigem Latte Macchiatto, als auch einen großen Filterkaffeevorrat, den man sich bei Bedarf auch in eine Thermoskanne für den Tisch füllen konnte. Es gab sogar Traubensecco und hausgemachtes Schoko Granola. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt einen großen, abgeschlossenen, überdachten Fahrradabstellplatz, an dem man seine eBikes auch direkt laden kann. Wir waren auf unserer Fahrradtour nur eine Nacht hier, werden aber bestimmt wieder kommen.

Das einzige was mir noch zur Perfektion beim Frühstück gefehlt hat, waren Croissants oder ähnliches. Vielleicht habe ich sie aber auch nur übersehen bei der großen Auswahl.
