Lovely stay in the Moselle region

Ben was very welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed. The bedroom and bathroom were perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable. The establishment is a short drive away from Cochem, Beilstein, Eltz... there are good restaurants and wine houses within walking-distance. All in all, we had a very nice stay. Thank you Ben :)

Lovely can’t wait to go back!!

It was lovely and comfy! The best sleep I had in ages!! Loved the balcony it was so peaceful. Ben and his family were so accomodating and friendly. It was a lovely touch for Ben to come to us and welcome us. And OMG the breakfast was just divine the best I have had from any where I stayed. So lovely pity it was so short but we hope to be back again 😁

Great stay

The hotel and rooms were lovely and clean, the staff were really helpful and Ben was really welcoming and had some great tips for visitors. The buffet breakfast was lovely and I would definitely recommend the hotel if you are in the area

The room had 2 bottles of water and 2 Coffee pods when we arrived but they didn’t refresh them daily

Great hotel, the beds can be an acquired taste though

* Ben and Nico were wonderful hosts, very helpful and thoughtful. For example: because there aren't the greatest of options for vegetarians at the breakfast buffet, Nico even prepared something vegetarian for my partner to have on the second morning we were there. * The room itself was clean, equipped with everything we could possibly need the past few days (not sure if there's airconditioning in the room, but we didn't need it as it has been relatively cool the past few days), it had a nice balcony with view on the hills, the TV worked fine, and either we were lucky with our neighbours or the rooms just generally aren't that noisy. * The hotel is favourably situated to some of the most well known sights in the area. Cochem was a mere 10 minute drive away (and if you would cycle it, it could probably be done in 30-45 minutes), Burg Eltz about a half an hour drive. You can park for free and safely right in front of the hotel.

* The shower cabin is a bit of a tight squeeze for a 187cm / 6'1 guy with a bit of a dad bod. 😉 * It probably didn't help that we tried to get some during the Germany versus Scotland game at Euro 2024, but it would have been nice if the minibar downstairs also had some sodas on offer instead of only alcoholic drinks or mineral water. I can't remember having seen a vending machine in the hotel that would have provided this, but I can be mistaken there. * Something I have told Ben already whilst checking out, but the mattress of our bed was a bit too hard for our liking and the cushion a bit too soft, but that's obviously a matter of personal taste in which you can't always please everybody. * Also mentioned to Ben: additional difficulty for us was that my partner has a goose feather allergy, and the cushions and duvet were stuffed with those. At least there were some blankets in the closet that were warm enough for this time of the year, and we used the cushions for the seats outside as improvised pillows, which all kind of worked, but maybe some alternative non-allergen pillows at the very least would be nice for future guests.

Zeer warm ontvangst 😉 door heel vriendelijke eigenaars. Het ontbijt was super lekker en met veel liefde gemaakt door de mama. We komen zeker nog eens terug.

Dikke prima, voldeed volledig aan onze verwachtingen.

Nette kamers met leuk uitzicht op een helling van de Moezel. Pension is gelegen in een rustig dorp. Uitstekend uitgebreid ontbijt met verse producten. Op de kamer koffie en thee voorziening. Er is ook een centrale lounge waar je kunt zitten en evt wat te drinken kunt pakken. Eigenaar Ben is vriendelijk en behulpzaam als je wat nodig hebt. Prima uitvalsbasis om de regio in te trekken!

Gemütliche Herbsttag an der Mosel

Super nette, bemühte und sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Jeden Tag war das Bad frisch geputzt! Die Handtücher wurden von der fleißigen Fee stets ausgetauscht. Sie lagen frisch gewaschen auf dem Bett. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit einem Lächeln begrüßt. Beim Frühstück gab es jeden Tag etwas neues zu probieren. Selbstgemachte, verschiedene Salate und die hausgemachte Marmelade. Ein ganz großes Lob! Hölzerne typische Einrichtung wurde mit modernen Akzenten kombiniert. 100 % Sauberkeit überall! Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Zimmer mit Moselblick. Danke, für die schönen Herbsttage bei Euch 🙂

Ein einzigartiges Hotel

Wir wurden so nett begrüßt, als würden wir uns schon ewig kennen. Das Hotel ist familiengeführt, alle sind so herzlich, man fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen. Beim Frühstück blieb kein Wunsch offen, alles war soooo lecker. Wir haben den Balkon, mit Blick auf die Weinberge Richtung Mosel sehr gern genutzt. Es gibt im Erdgeschoß auch eine nette Sitzgelegenheit, gleich neben dem zu jeder Zeit verfügbaren Weinschrank. Ben, habt nochmals vielen Dank, es hat uns bei euch sehr gut gefallen!

Wir können uns gut vorstellen noch einmal die Unterkunft zu buchen.

Die Fahrräder konnten wir problemlos über Nacht in einer gegenüberliegenden Hütte abstellen und bei Bedarf aufladen. Das Einchecken war dank Schlüsselsafe sehr einfach und flexibel.Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Das Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich. Der Frühstückraum war gemütlich.

Tolle Unterkunft für eine entspannte Zeit in Moselnähe

Ben ist ein ausgesprochen freundlicher Gastgeber, das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Hotel hat einen schönen Außenbereich, den wir gerne zum Frühstück genutzt haben. Das Hotel ist einladend und offensichtlich renoviert. Die Nähe zur Mosel ist toll und es stehen ausreichend Parkplätze kostenfrei zur Verfügung.

Die Zimmer sind etwas rustikal eingerichtet- ist aber alles Geschmackssache. Für uns waren die Betten etwas zu weich und quietschten etwas. Wir haben allerdings auch Rückenprobleme.

Alles super.

Der Besitzer und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück reichlich und jeden Tag was anderes. Wir waren dort 5 Tage und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir empfehlen das Haus Benico weiter und würden jederzeit sehr gerne dort wohnen. Herzlichen Dank an Haus Benico.

Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit, tolles Frühstück - angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Eine äusserts freundliche Gastgeberfamilie. Absolute Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen. Sehr ruhige Lage und doch alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Unterstellmöglichkeit für die Fahrräder. Genügend Parkraum. Eine etwas ältere Einrichtung der Zimmer, aber sehr angenehm. Dusche und WC waren sehr modern. Das Frühstück lässt nichts vermissen. Warmes und kaltes Buffett mit leckeren "Sachen" und mit Liebe zubereitet. Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt und waren nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel. We ontvingen OV kaartjes waar we gebruik van hebben gemaakt! Super ontbijt, relaxte sfeer! Goede bedden.

Hartelijk ontvangst bij dit mooie kleinschalige pension.

We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen met koffie. Mooie schone kamer met fijn balkon. Heerlijk rustig gelegen. Afsluitbare fietsenstalling. Parkeerruimte voor de auto. Prima uitgebreid ontbijt . In de algemene ruimte staan 2 koelkastjes met wijn en bier welke je voor een klein bedrag mag pakken. Restaurants op loopafstand. Personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Wij komen graag nog eens terug!

Underbart ställe om man vill ha lugnt och fridfullt. Jättebra att man kan sitta ute under tak.

Perfekt för oss som reste 12 personer. Vi kunde alla sitta tillsammans utomhus och umgås. Matställen fanns bara något kvarter bort. 5-7 min promenad. Trevligt att det fanns kyl med vin och läsk/vatten att tillgå. Lugnt och fridfullt ställe Tusen tack till ägarna som såg till att vi hade en underbar vistelse!

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Mooie zeer schone gedeeltelijk gerenoveerde kamers. Badkamer is nieuw en modern, bedden zijn gedateerd maar goed. Ontbijt is helemaal top, zeer veel keus!

Wir waren rundum zufriedsen.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch generell freundliche Gastgeber. Familiengeführte Pension mit Herz. Das Frühstück war erstklassig und ließ keine Wünsche offen, Alles war super sauber und die Betten bequem. Ausreichend abschließbarer Platz für Räder vorhanden, ebenso ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Uitermate vriendelijke eigenaren, Ben en Nicolet. En ook de rest van de familie is super gemotiveerd. Het hele huis is brandschoon, de ruime kamers worden elke dag schoongemaakt. Prima bedden en een “stevige” douche. Lekker balkon met zitje. Het ontbijt is prima, elke dag tref je op ‘t buffet weer iets extra’s aan, naast de al zeer uitgebreide keuzes van elke dag. de hele familie staat voor je klaar met een lach en ze zijn graag behulpzaam.

Haus Benico - sehr zu empfehlen - ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt an der Mosel

Der Empfang war super nett. Wir wurden nach dem Check-in durch das Haus geführt und uns wurde dabei alles erklärt. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf die Berge hat uns sehr gefallen. In den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. An dem Frühstücksbuffet gab es nichts auszusetzen. Hier konnte man merken, dass das Frühstück jeden Morgen frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet wurde. Das Haus Benico ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir haben uns im Haus Benico sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt.

Leider war der Fahrstuhl defekt.

Ein Aufenthalt im Haus Genick ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Frühstück hatte alles was man sich wünscht.Die Lage ist einfach Spitze,mit dem Gästeticket kam man mit Bus oder Bahn überall sehr gut und entspannt hin.

Schade war nur das die Straußenwirtschaften noch geschlossen waren.
